Many contractors just lay roads and never maintain them, so why are they awarded contracts and given extra money in the name of maintenance?

Municipals of major cities should raise money through bond market and invest in the ease of living of its citizens. Also they should enhance their ability to collect tax and not just depend of loan proceeds to fund these.

First makes bad roads using tax money then to repair that road again use more money The cycle should go on

Still, the best fix would be to match this manhole surface parallelly to the road.

Any teenager can spray asphalt; doing it properly takes actual skill. A repaired patch must be perfectly level. Your patch is 2 in thicker. Do you have standards? Compare this to German manhole repairs—zero bumps, seamless transition, and real standards.

Why always create a bump while doing a patch, why can’t we level the patch properly.

Why they don’t lay it perfectly without any bumps and manhole are left without being brought up to the roads level which is creating itself into a pothole

The real success metric isn't how fast the pothole is filled—it's whether the repair survives heavy traffic and the monsoon season.

With the monsoons here, we really needed this.

Vo gutter ka dhakan vaha per ho vo BC two wheelers ko kitna pareshan karta hai pata hai na. To usko side main kyun nahi kar sakte. Itna bada road bana diya leki gutter to road ke bichme hi hai.
