I always thought in school that bacteriophages were alien spaceships.

Looks so so scary😟

So cool and slightly terrifying a bacteriophage looks like a sci-fi alien! 🧬 It lands like a lunar lander, locks onto the bacterial cell, and then injects its DNA through that tail like a microscopic syringe. The cell doesn’t even know what hit it!
