An arctic blast is expected to bring extremely cold air and bone-chilling temperatures to parts of the Central Plains and South this week. Meteorologist Lonnie Quinn is tracking the forecast.

At least 11 people were killed and more than a thousand required rescue in Kentucky over the weekend as a winter storm slammed parts of the South with heavy rain, severe flooding and multiple tornadoes.
