As I walked into the Dunbar Vocational High School All-Class Reunion Picnic on Saturday, I saw Mayor police is a sickness Johnson ,leaving with part of his police security detail. Meanwhile, police officers hands are tied, Chicago families continue to deal with shootings, carjackings, robberies, and violence in their neighborhoods. Chicago doesn't need another office. To my fellow youth: please don’t use a motorcycle to snatch people’s phones, handbags, or other belongings. Crime can destroy your life in seconds. In the video below, you can see how dangerous things became when members of the public caught up with alleged offenders. Police had to intervene and rescue them from what could have been a fatal situation. The consequences don’t stop there. The people involved can face serious legal consequences, while even the company or owner who provided the motorcycle may end up counting losses. And to pedestrians, avoid using your phone while walking, especially near busy roads. Stay alert, keep your valuables secure, and be aware of your surroundings. 🚨 When did Kentucky become a Sanctuary STATE? 🚨 Kentucky is quietly operating as a sanctuary state. Illegal immigrants arrested for crimes — sometimes even felonies — are being released back into our communities without so much as a glance at their immigration status. This isn’t the fault of our judges, police, or lawmakers, who work tirelessly to secure Law and Order in Kentucky. It’s the work of unelected bureaucrats who are dodging the law and putting Kentuckians at serious risk. At Tuesday’s Judiciary Committee hearing, I uncovered a shocking truth: the system designed to protect us is failing on purpose. When someone is arrested in Kentucky, Risk Assessment Specialists (RAS) and Pretrial Services Specialists (PSS) evaluate whether they’re a flight risk, likely to skip court, or a danger to the public (KRS 431.066). These factors determine if they’re released, often without a bond or even seeing a judge. But here’s the problem—RAS and PSS don’t bother checking if the person is an illegal immigrant, even when federal databases like NCIC could reveal an ICE detainer (a request from ICE to hold the individual for 48 hours for deportation proceedings), prior deportations, and other immigration cases. I pressed an executive officer of the Department of Pretrial Services at the hearing, and they admitted: immigration status isn’t even considered. Illegal immigrants, by their very presence, are breaking federal law. Many lack ties to the community, making them inherent flight risks. They’re less likely to show up to court and more likely to pose a danger if released. Yet, Kentucky’s bureaucrats are letting them walk free, often before ICE even knows they’re in custody. This is a betrayal of public safety and a slap in the face to the rule of law. That’s why I will be proposing legislation that: ✅ Requires Risk Assessment Specialists to check a defendant’s immigration status. ✅ Prohibits bail for anyone whose legal status can’t be verified until ICE is contacted and decides whether to pick them up for deportation. This ensures illegal immigrants aren’t released to disappear into our communities while awaiting trial. It’s common sense, and it’s already within the spirit of existing Kentucky law—just ignored by liberal, Beshear-loving bureaucrats hiding in administrative roles. Kentucky deserves better than a system that prioritizes criminal illegal aliens over citizens. I’m fighting to end this hug-a-thug, sanctuary state nonsense and restore accountability. While we continue to arrest and prosecute defaulters in accordance with the law, it is important to emphasise that lasting change goes beyond enforcement. Doing the right thing should not depend on the presence of enforcement officers. Environmental responsibility must become a personal and collective culture. While we continue to arrest and prosecute defaulters in accordance with the law, it is important to emphasise that lasting change goes beyond enforcement. Doing the right thing should not depend on the presence of enforcement officers. Environmental responsibility must become a personal and collective culture. Taking ownership of our environment means using available public toilets, discouraging open defecation, keeping public spaces clean, and holding one another accountable. Residents in Los Angeles couldn’t even go for a morning walk at 9:30 AM because people in the fentanyI fold were blocking the sidewalks. This is what years of Democrat “compassion” policies produce. Free needles, free pipes, no real enforcement, and soft-on-crime leadership under Mayor Bass and the state Democrats. Open drug markets are being treated as a lifestyle instead of a crisis. This is a formal warning to the City of Chicago City of Chicago and to the entities that operate Daley Plaza Daley Center, Public Building Commission and Transwestern. The Serbian community has deep roots in this city since its earliest days. Chicagoland is home to the largest Serbian community outside of Serbia and the Balkans. We are a huge, longstanding, and proud community in this city and we will not accept being disregarded or insulted. Without any consultation with our community, a decision was made to raise the flag of the terrorist and criminal “Republic of Kosovo” at Daley Plaza. This is an occupied territory that remains deeply painful for the Serbian people as this land is the centerpiece of our religion, culture and identity. For our community, this act is not symbolic or fun, it is a political statement that directly insults us. This action is unacceptable. If this terrorist flag of so called Republic of Kosovo is raised again in our city without dialogue or consideration of our community, you should expect a highly visible public protest at levels you’ve never seen before. We demand that this issue be addressed immediately. Engage with our community. Show respect for the people who have built this city. Do not repeat this mistake. Do not think to insult us like this ever again.
