SHE EXPOSED A RAPE LIST IN THE ROYAL NAVY Former Lieutenant Sophie Brook was one of the first women to serve on UK submarines after the ban was lifted in 2011. She could have become the first female submarine captain. Instead, she became a whistleblower. Brook told the Daily Mail she was called a "c***", punched and hit by male colleagues, and informed she was on a "rape list", a list of women ranked in the order they should be raped in a catastrophic event. In 2022 she disclosed dozens of allegations from multiple female sailors, ranging from petty hazing to unwanted sexual contact and at least one instance of rape. She said she had come forward to shine a light on a culture that, for too long, had been permitted to thrive within some of the most elite branches of the armed forces. The Royal Navy launched an investigation. It took two years. The internal investigation confirmed 71 cases of misconduct between 2014 and 2020, leading to dismissals, demotions and reprimands. First Sea Lord Admiral Sir Ben Key apologised and accepted all 37 recommendations of the investigation in full. He met Brook personally and called her courage commendable. Brook said she was still concerned about the Navy's commitment to delivering meaningful change. Seventy-one confirmed cases. Decades of abuse. One woman willing to say it out loud. The Navy got 37 recommendations. Brook got an apology. The perpetrators got dismissed. Nobody got prosecuted. Great institution you've got there. Sources: Daily Mail | Sky News | BBC News (UK) |

Zara Tindall, due to her position in the Line of Succession, often found herself walking behind her cousins at public family events. Unlike her cousins, she did not receive the same level of security or treatment. Despite not being the heir, did Zara harbour any resentment towards her family? Did she write a spiteful book or trash her grandparents last years or appear on Netflix shows spouting lies & petty grievances for millions? No. Instead, Zara carved out an impressive career for herself within the Royal Family's framework & achieved the remarkable feat of becoming an Olympic medalist, making her country proud🥈🐴 The notion that Prince Harry had no purpose is absurd. He decided against further education & a civilian career, unlike Prince William, who served with the air ambulance. Harry also showed little gratitude for Sentebale, created by King Charles for his son, or Invictus, created by William and the Royal Foundation. Obsessing over what he didn’t have, he failed to maturely recognise his extraordinary privileges, which surpass those of nearly everyone on the planet. Many high-profile individuals have overcome profound challenges in their youth, forging resilience that drove their success and purpose. Madonna, for instance, lost her mother at age five and faced financial struggles, working multiple jobs in NYC to launch her music career. Steve Jobs, adopted & later a college dropout, endured homelessness and co-founded Apple. The Duke of Kent, lost his father in a plane crash at age six, a tragedy that thrust him into the role of duke at a young age. Despite this loss, he found purpose through duty, serving in the military and dedicating decades to public service, supporting the royal family and King Charles III into his 80s with unwavering commitment. These figures faced adversity—loss, poverty, or emotional upheaval—& transformed their struggles into meaningful achievements through perseverance & responsibility. In contrast, Harry’s privileged life shielded him from such trials. He gained entry to Sandhurst despite lacking the academic qualifications, supported by special accommodations, and was handed prominent roles in charities like Sentebale and Invictus without the grueling effort others undertake. In the military, he was protected from frontline combat, unlike regular soldiers, yet received accolades amplified by palace PR for minimal contributions. His father’s efforts to craft a heroic narrative arguably fostered an inflated sense of self-importance, unchecked by the weighty expectations placed on #PrinceWilliam, who bore the mantle of future kingship from age 11. Harry’s relative freedom, unburdened by such duties, granted him liberties William never had, yet he leaked Wills’s deployment to the media out of jealousy, revealing a pettiness untested by the genuine hardships that shaped the resilience & duty of others like the Duke of Kent. Zara, Peter, Beatrice, Eugenie, and Louise exemplify hard work and success, leveraging their privileged positions for positive impact without complaint. Zara, an Olympic equestrian, and Peter, a business director, have forged independent careers, while Beatrice and Eugenie balance professional roles with significant charity work. Louise, pursuing her studies, remains grounded and dutiful. Each respects their royal heritage, embodying strong family values & unity. In contrast, Harry, despite having all the opportunities, resources, and support to develop into his best self and forge a meaningful role, like practically all members of his extended family, allowed jealousy and shortsightedness to overshadow his potential 🙄 Zara would likely excel in a senior royal role working within the King's office, showcasing maturity, loyalty, compassion and teamwork—qualities arguably more valuable than mere "jazz hands." Her approach demonstrates what royal service, grace and dignity look like and aligns with other members of her family ❤️ #ZaraTindall #PrincessZara #Olympics

Bournemouth beach in 2026 — once one of Britain’s cleanest, most family-friendly resorts — now looks like this. Video shared by The media SOI 🇬🇧 shows the shocking reality: mountains of litter, overflowing bins that don’t exist, and a beach dominated by non-white migrants while white British families are nowhere to be seen. The transformation is total and deliberate. This wasn’t an accident. Decades of open borders, small boats, and zero integration have turned a proud English seaside town into a dumping ground — both literally and figuratively. The same people who arrive illegally or as asylum seekers are handed hotels, benefits and priority housing while British taxpayers watch their favourite beaches and public spaces trashed and culturally replaced. British families used to spend summers here without a second thought. Now parents have to think twice before letting their kids play on the sand. The mess, the noise, the disregard for basic standards — none of this existed before mass migration. Specific policy demands that must be implemented immediately: • Stop the boats and turn every illegal vessel back using the Royal Navy. • Mass deportation of every illegal entrant, failed asylum seeker and foreign national with a criminal or anti-social record — no appeals. • British citizens first in housing, welfare, jobs and public services — full stop. • End two-tier everything: enforce littering fines, public order laws and basic British standards equally for everyone. • Halt all further migration from high-risk countries until every illegal arrival is removed and our beaches, towns and streets are restored. Bournemouth is not alone. This is happening from Brighton to Blackpool. The British people never voted for this. We never asked to become strangers on our own coastline. Enough is enough. Reclaim our beaches. Reclaim our country. Put British people and British standards first — always. 🇬🇧

🚨 UPDATE: HOMELESS VETERAN FINDS A HOME! 🚨 I am beyond thrilled to share some incredible news about Carl, the homeless veteran we've rallied around since before Christmas After being left to fend for himself in the freezing cold by a council that did too little, too late, Carl's fortunes have turned around. Thanks to the incredible support from our community, we've managed to secure Carl a new flat he can truly call home! 🍻 I was contacted by another veteran, shaun a former Royal Navy man who buys and renovates properties. He also converts vans into high quality campervans. Seeing my posts on X, he stepped up with an offer we couldn't refuse - a property ready for Carl. Today, we visited the flat together, and I am overjoyed to announce that Carl now has the keys to his new home. Massive thank you to Andrew Tate for his generous donation which provided Carl with a warm hotel stay over Christmas, giving him temporary respite from the harsh winter streets. Your contribution has been a beacon of hope when we needed it most. Thank you Robert Henry for all your help and support mate 💙 To everyone who offered to donate, shared my posts, or offered words of encouragement, your support has made this possible. Your collective efforts have changed a man's life. However, this victory is bittersweet. It's a stark reminder of how our government and local councils are failing not just our veterans but everyone experiencing homelessness. While we celebrate this success, we must also demand better from those in power. It's disgraceful that Carl was left to the elements, highlighting a systemic failure in support for those who served our country. The lack of initiative, the bureaucratic red tape, and the sheer neglect are unacceptable. We need immediate action to ensure no one, especially not veterans, faces such hardships. This isn't just about Carl; it's about the thousands still struggling. We need housing policies that work, support systems that don't fail, and leaders who prioritize human dignity over everything else. Let this be a moment of celebration but also a call to arms. Let's keep pushing for systemic change so that no one has to rely on the kindness of strangers to find warmth and shelter. Thank you again to everyone who helped make this happen. Let's keep the momentum going for Carl and for all those in need.

Wilberforce got the statue. This man got the mud. Thirty-five thousand miles of it. His name was Thomas Clarkson. Born in England. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Cambridgeshire. 1760. He was twenty-four years old when Cambridge set him an essay question. "Is it lawful to make slaves of others against their will?" He knew nothing about slavery. So he started reading. Two months later he couldn't stop. He won the prize and rode home to London with something nobody had given him. A conscience he couldn't put down. Halfway there, on a quiet country road, he stopped his horse. Sat in the silence of the English countryside. The trade was real. He had just proved it. And somebody had to stop it. So he gave up the church and got to work. Bristol. Liverpool. Every slave port in Britain. Into the taverns, the back rooms, the ships. Asking sailors what they had seen below decks. Men who had been there. Who knew what happened on the Middle Passage. Some refused. Some were threatened. Some were bought. Clarkson kept riding. Thirty-five thousand miles. Ten years. Every testimony written down in longhand on the road. All of it handed to a young MP named William Wilberforce. Wilberforce went to Parliament and gave the speeches. Clarkson saddled up and went back out. In 1792 they put a petition together. Not from London. Not from the powerful. From ordinary men and women. Market towns, village squares, chapel steps across England. Four hundred thousand signatures. The largest petition in British parliamentary history. Parliament voted it down. So they went again. And again. Eighteen years of going again. 25 March 1807. The Slave Trade Act passed. Britain outlawed the trade and turned the Royal Navy loose to hunt the ships. History gave Wilberforce the statue. Coleridge called Clarkson the moral steam engine of the abolition movement. Clarkson lived to see slavery abolished completely in 1833. An old man of seventy-three, who had started this at twenty-four. He died in 1846. The last surviving founder of the original committee. He never held office. Never gave the famous speeches. He just got back on the horse. For sixty years. Did they teach you his name? Together we keep our history alive. Be part of us. Be Proud Of Us. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇬🇧

🇬🇧 The story we got told is that kings made British history. That parliaments did. That armies did. That isn't what the record shows. 📜 1215. The barons dragged King John into a field at Runnymede and made him sign. Two years later ordinary people came back, and the Charter of the Forest gave common people written rights for the first time in history. British people stood together, and they won. ⚔️ 1381. A hundred thousand peasants, labourers and craftsmen marched on London with farm tools and the longbows the Crown had trained them to use. A fourteen-year-old king rode out to meet them and negotiated face to face with a peasant at Smithfield. Serfdom never recovered. British people stood together, and they won. 🕯️ 1791. Three hundred thousand British households stopped buying sugar. No leader. No orders. Women led it, putting notices in their windows that said this household does not use slave-grown sugar. Sales collapsed. It started the momentum that ended the slave trade. The Royal Navy spent the next fifty years intercepting slave ships. British taxpayers paid the loan until 2015. British people stood together, and they won. 🌳 1834. Six Dorset farm labourers asked for a living wage. The government made it illegal overnight and shipped them to Australia in irons. Eight hundred thousand people signed a petition. Tens of thousands marched through London. The Tolpuddle Martyrs came home, and the global trade union movement had its moment. British people stood together, and they won. 🏭 1862. The American Civil War cut off the cotton. Half a million Lancashire mill workers were starving. Slave-grown Confederate cotton was on the docks, and would have ended the famine overnight. They voted, in meeting after meeting, not to touch it. They chose hunger over slavery. Abraham Lincoln wrote them a letter calling it an example to the world. British people stood together, and they won. No empire did any of this. No king ordered it. No parliament voted for it. A field in Runnymede. A road to London. A kitchen window. A tree in Dorset. A meeting hall in Manchester. Every time it mattered most, British people stood together. And every time they did, they changed what it meant to be human. This is who we are. This is what we're capable of. Now it's our turn. Find each other. Stand together. The next chapter is ours to write. Your support pays for the research, the production, and the hours it takes to get it right. Stories like these don't find themselves. Be part of us. 👉 👈 Be Proud Of Us. 🙏🇬🇧

Finally, Ed Davey calls for the UK to join the EU Single Market 👏 "We meet at an extraordinary moment. Vladimir Putin is still waging war on our continent. Donald Trump's chaos in the Middle East goes on. And our government, our own government is paralysed by infighting, waiting for Makerfield to release them from their agony." "And yet, despite all that, standing with you here today, I feel hope. And not just about England's chances against Croatia tonight, but hope about our country's future." "Not hope because the path ahead is easy. It isn't. Not hope because everything will magically get better. It won't." "But hope because finally, after ten long, difficult years, I believe we can move on. We can finally fix the Brexit damage, end the Brexit chaos and get our country back on track." "Because the story the media won't tell you, as they fawn over the rise of Farage, as they hang on his every empty press conference, is that the country is with us. We hear it on the doorsteps, we see it in the polls, we feel it in our communities." "People are fed up. They've had enough. Enough of the chaos in government, the queues at ports, the queues at airports, the bills that just keep on going up." "They know the hard truth that most politicians won't admit. The Brexit experiment has failed. And it's failed all of us." "£90 billion a year. That's how much it's costing us all as taxpayers" "£90 billion every year, gone" "That's £250 million every single day. Taken away from our schools, our hospitals, our armed forces. Taken out of everyone's pockets in the form of unfair tax rises." "Not because of a pandemic, not because of a war, not because of some force of nature out of our control, but because of their Brexit experiment. Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and the rest. An experiment that has now consumed a decade of British politics. That has tangled British businesses up in pointless red tape, that has pushed up prices for British families and that has left us all poorer." "Well, not all of us, apparently. Farage says that the five million he got from a crypto billionaire was his reward for Brexit. So when he said 'We'll be better off after Brexit,' it turns out he was using the royal we." "But friends, it's not only the economic and financial impact, as disastrous as those have been. It's the way they have poisoned our relationship with our nearest neighbours and friends, making it harder to work together on all the things we need to. Energy security and climate change, migration and refugees, AI, and above all, defence." "Britain has always been at its best when we stand tall with our European allies, not when we shut ourselves off. Now they promised us global Britain, but they have left us isolated at the worst possible time. Poorer, weaker and more insecure." "Their experiment has failed. We all know it. So it's time to move on." "But what do they say? The ones who caused all this. The people responsible. Farage and the Conservative Party. They say 'Tough.' They say you can't move on. They say you can't question Britain's relationship with Europe now. You can't dare to suggest there might be a better way. Doesn't matter how bad it gets, doesn't matter how much you're struggling. You just have to live with it, they say." "We say 'No.' We say Britain shouldn't have to live with a bad deal they've lumped us with. We say our country deserves far better than that." "Theirs is old thinking. It's 2016 thinking. The world has changed dramatically since then. It's time for us to change too. It's time for us to move on, move forward." "Just look around. Vladimir Putin is bombing schools and hospitals in Ukraine, murdering innocent civilians. He's testing NATO's resolve and setting his sights on the rest of Eastern Europe. He has shown that territorial conquest is not some relic of the distant past. It is happening now on European soil to our friends and our allies who share our values and our way of life." "And Donald Trump, he's torching the world economy for fun with his tariffs and his trade wars and now his actual war with Iran. He's ripping up the rules-based international order that generations of British leaders, American leaders, European leaders, painstakingly built after the Second World War. Trump threatening NATO, emboldening Putin and actively meddling in our democracies." "And then there's China, increasingly using trade supply chains and strategic dependencies as instruments of geopolitical competition." "And to add to all those political changes, there's the billionaire tech barons taking more and more control of our lives and our jobs with their empires of AI and social media, that no one nation can govern on its own." "The assumptions we have lived by for decades, that global trade would keep expanding, that international rules would broadly be respected, that our security would be underwritten by stable alliances. Those assumptions no longer hold. The world has changed more rapidly than at any time since the end of the Cold War. And our politics must change too." "Now we obviously can't turn to those who wrecked it. Farage and the Conservatives. They only want to make things worse. Even now, pushing for Brexit 2.0 with their plans to rip up the European Convention on Human Rights. They would just rerun all the old arguments, forcing Britain to replay the last ten years over and over in a never ending Brexit doom loop." "But nor, I'm afraid, can we look to Labour. Labour who failed to act with anything like the urgency this moment demands. Who don't seem to grasp the scale of the change we need in our relationship with Europe. Labour, who still kept us hemmed in the red lines they set more than five years ago. No single market, no customs union. Red lines they set before Putin invaded Ukraine, before Trump returned to the White House. Red lines that were wrong then and are even more wrong now." "The world has changed and it's time to move on. We cannot be trapped by that old thinking anymore. We have to look to the future. Not back to 2016 but to 2036 and beyond." "And that's why we're all here today, isn't it? Not because we are bitter about the past, but because we believe in a better future. Because we love our country and we know its brightest days still lie ahead." "We're here for our children and our grandchildren because we want them to inherit a country that is growing, that is confident, that is leading, not one that is shrinking, stagnating and standing alone." "That's what drives us. We're here because the world has changed, because the challenges we face to our economy, to our society and to our national defence are real and urgent. And because we believe Britain deserves ambition that matches the scale of this moment." "So what does that ambition look like? Well, first the government needs to drop those old red lines that stop us getting rid of the Conservatives' red tape. Those red lines are holding Britain back. They're hurting the British people and they are playing into the hands of Farage and Reform." "So my message to Andy Burnham, to Wes Streeting, to whoever the next Prime Minister may be, is drop those red lines. Drop them now." "If we do, we can move on from the torpor and timidity that has marked out Labour's approach to Europe so far. We can put an end to the endless talk of a reset that so far seems to just mean saying no more politely than the Conservatives did. And we can get on with properly fixing our relationship with Europe, for our economy, for our security, for our future." "Our party has led that debate for years. Last year, days before Trump took office, we set out plans for the UK to join a new customs union with the EU. And today I want to build on that and go further, much further." "Today we are calling for a new growth and defence partnership with the European Union. A new growth and defence partnership with the European Union. A bold new deal that will make Britain richer, safer and stronger, including a customs union, but also crucially taking Britain back into the single market." "Tearing down the barriers to trade. Ending the mountains of paperwork, the cost, the delays, the queues. Giving our young people the chance to study and work, live and love anywhere in the EU. Undoing the damage of the Johnson Farage Brexit deal that has held our economy back for so long." "Giving British businesses the certainty they need to invest, to hire and to grow. Giving Britain's economy the boost it needs after years of stagnation. Crucially, giving Britain's public finances a growth dividend. Tens of billions of pounds that we would use to cut the cost of living, to fix the NHS and to strengthen our armed forces." "And this new partnership must go beyond trade and growth. In the age of Putin, Xi and Trump, this must be about defence and security too. No country can be prosperous and free if it is not safe." "And Britain can help lead on defence in Europe as we have so decisively in the past. Despite the Conservatives' short-sighted cuts to our armed forces and Labour's chaos over investing in them now, Britain is still one of Europe's foremost military powers. We are a leading intelligence nation, a permanent member of the UN Security Council and the third-biggest contributor to NATO." "We should be using those strengths. We should be at the table, helping to shape Europe's security future, not watching from the sidelines. And Europe wants us at the table. They know they need our leadership on defence." "So let's seize the initiative from a position of strength to form a new partnership that strengthens both Britain's economy and our collective security. That is why our new partnership would be about defence as much as it is about growth." "That means financial cooperation through a new European rearmament bank, alongside securing UK access to the one hundred and fifty billion euro safe programme. It means joint defence procurement, creating jobs in Britain while strengthening our collective capabilities. It means deeper cooperation on intelligence, on cyber security and on protecting critical infrastructure." "It means working together on energy security so that none of us can be held hostage by an authoritarian regime turning off the gas. It means political cooperation through a new European Security Council with a permanent seat for the UK, ensuring that Europe can shoulder greater responsibility for its own security within NATO." "As Trump's actions remind us every day, that we cannot afford to rely so much on the United States. Friends, this is not a choice we can afford to dodge any longer. In the face of Putin's threats and Trump's unpredictability, a new defence pact with Europe, with allies on whom we can depend, allies who share our interests and our values, is frankly the only way to keep Britain safe and defend our values in a dangerous world." "A new defence pact with Europe is not a choice, it is a necessity. So let's get on with it." "That is the ambition we need when it comes to our relationship with Europe. No more tinkering around the edges of a bad deal. No more shackling ourselves to the arguments of the last ten years, but building something new. A partnership fit for the enormous challenges we face today." "A new growth and defence partnership with a new pact for our collective security. Forming a customs union, joining the single market. A new partnership to make us richer, safer and stronger." "I think it's the best hope our country has to stop the chaos and end the crisis. And, my friends, it is the biggest step we could take now back towards membership of the EU." "And there's another big step we need to take too. Defeating Nigel Farage and Reform. We have to stop them from turning our United Kingdom into their version of Trump's America." "And here's the point. Until we do defeat them, many in Europe will not countenance Britain joining." "Let's remember why this matters, why it's so crucial for Britain to be there at the heart of Europe, at the table with our nearest neighbours." "I've been privileged to see it for myself, the power we have when Britain leads in Europe. When Vladimir Putin invaded Crimea in 2014, we recognised then that the way to defeat him would be to get Europe off its dependence on Russian oil and gas, to take away the money that was funding his aggression, to bankrupt the Russian war machine." "So I led Britain's efforts to bring Europe together behind that common cause, and we succeeded. We wrote Europe's energy security strategy. Britain did that, sitting at the table, leading in Europe." "But then, instead of seeing it through, the Conservatives walked away. They gave up Britain's seat at the table. They locked us out of those discussions at the worst possible time." "Just imagine where we could be now if Britain had continued to lead on energy security. Imagine how much weaker Putin would be now. Imagine how much safer Ukraine and the rest of Europe, including Britain, would be now. What a terrible waste. What an indictment of the Conservatives." "And that is why I am so determined to get us back at the table, back at the heart of Europe. Britain leading again." "Now I want to speak for a moment about the bigger picture. Because our ambition is not limited to Europe alone. It's about Britain's place in the world." "The old assumption that trade, security and prosperity could be treated as separate issues no longer holds. Supply chains can be disrupted. Energy can be weaponised. Economic security and national security are now inseparable." "At a time when authoritarian powers are doing so much to undermine our security, democratic nations must work more closely together to enhance it. As Mark Carney said in Davos, middle powers must act together, because if we're not at the table, we're on the menu. He is right." "Fixing our relationship with Europe is the essential foundation, but it's not the ceiling. The UK can be an incredible force for good when it stands tall on the world stage. Our history, our alliances and our relationships across every continent gives us a unique position for us to act as a bridge, not just between Europe and the US but between Europe and the whole wider democratic world." "We are here because we believe that our country and our people thrive when we are open and outward looking. That is Britain at its best. Not a small inward looking island clinging to the wreckage of a failed experiment, but a leader, a convening power, a country that helps shape the international order rather than being buffeted by it." "That is the Britain we can be." "But friends, I want to be honest with you about the task ahead. What we are proposing is bold. It is ambitious. It requires courage, requires leadership. And it will not happen without all of us." "We know the obstacles we face, the arguments ahead, the opponents who would rather replay the last ten years instead of moving on from them. Who will tell us we can't even talk about a new deal with Europe, let alone make one. The politicians who will claim change isn't possible because the status quo works for them. But it doesn't work for anyone else." "So our job is to get out there and show people that change is possible, that it doesn't have to be like this, that there is a way forward. A better future for our country. Leading in Europe once again." "This isn't just because we believe in Europe. It's not just about friendship or shared history, or the fact that a divided Europe has always ended in misery. Fixing it is about us, our country, our future, our hopes and our dreams." "Britain needs a new plan. A plan for growth, for jobs, for defence. A plan to give our children the better future they deserve. A new deal with Europe. The only way to fix the cost of living crisis. The only way to get our country back on track." "So let us stand together. Let us end the chaos. Let us show the world what Britain can be. Not a small island clinging to a failed experiment, but a leader, open, outward looking. At the table, not on the menu." "A Britain that is richer, safer and stronger. That is the future we are fighting for." " Thank you. Thank you very much."

Charlie Kirk and Turning Point. A Special Relationship with London and the UK - Kirk's impact on Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge. By John Mappin In December 2018, a chance introduction, sparked a pivotal moment at London’s Royal Automobile Club, where my wife Irina and I hosted Charlie Kirk, and introduced the founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) to the UK. The exclusive evening was billed as “A Gathering of Political Genius,” it did not disappoint. The initiative was supported by Nigel Farage, and was backed by Robin Birley, Lord and Lady Tyrone Plunket, Amanda Eliasch, and Peter Southall. That night we launched Turning Point UK (TPUK), and forged priceless connections that helped to amplify TPUSA’s global momentum. The gathering highlighted Charlie’s vision. Today Charlie’s influence has helped to reelect President Trump and has totally changed the way that the US government interacts with universities like Harvard, Oxford, and Cambridge in combating the culturally deadly “woke mind virus.” Foreign students who are expecting to attend Harvard and other US Universities this autumn/fall who are not able to get visas today, to study in the USA are rapidly finding out that the rules of engagement have changed in US universities. Two weeks ago, joining Charlie in London and at his Oxford Union debate, I witnessed personally how his political power has soared. Today he commands a whole new level of influence. By December 2018, TPUSA, founded in 2012 with Bill Montgomery, already boasted a £6 million budget and had thousands of US campus chapters. In May 2025, TPUSA has over 1,000+ staff and over $100 million in annual donations. President Trump’s administration is amplifying Charlie’s impact—his endorsements are now highly sought after. Charlie’s rumoured role in J.D. Vance’s Senate and VP ascent is factual. Our 2018 London gathering remains well remembered example of British and American minds championing of freedom and it played a part in TPUSA’s rise both as a powerful political activist and as a vital force reshaping global education. Irina and I, and our respective families have been passionate about conservative values for several generations, but that December 2018 night in London, we saw in Charlie as did many of our friends, a trailblazer for sanity. Our gathering drew Britain’s conservative elite, thanks to internet platforms we turned TPUK’s London launch into a global event as many of our US friends were able watched the event online in as well. Several saw Turning point as an opportunity to export sane educational philosophy in their own countries and globally. Charlie, with Candace Owens, both at their most erudite, championed free markets and intellectual freedom. Thoroughly inspiring our British audience that night they laid the groundwork for influencing university policy not just in Britain, we all saw and witnessed the worldwide potential. Princess Gloria Von Thurn und Taxis heard about the London event, in Germany and immediately invited Kirk and Owens to her Palace at Regensburg. His Grace the Duke of Marlborough, James Marlbourough invited them both to visit him at Blenheim Palace and later participated in TPUK fundraising events in London. With help from TPUK, Charlie went on to establish chapters in Oxford, Sussex, and King’s College London, leveraging TPUSA’s rallies and viral media. His extraordinary ability to build and create an organisation and his validation of sanity where possible has fuelled his rise. Spending much valued private time with him in London and Oxford two weeks ago it was clear to me that Charlie has retained his all-too-familiar humility: “I don’t consider myself smarter than anyone else, I just work on the premise that I will outwork everyone else.” And work hard he certainly does. This was true in 2018 and is even truer now in 2025. The precision with which Charlie flips between direct and instantaneous communication with the White House, dynamic dinner subjects raised by his close coterie of London friends (while they plan the next surgical dismantling of the woke mind virus), and the hands-on management of his organisation and immediate team, is actually, awe-inspiring. Hard work is Charlie’s hallmark, and a perspicacity that seems to allow him to see exactly which issues the US voter cares deeply about. All this is totally confounding to the planners of the destructive agenda that assails mankind, Charlie is a conservative kingmaker. His podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, with 100 million downloads yearly, makes his support vital for MAGA candidates. His posts on X highlight his role in GOP races, amplifying his policy influence. Charlie’s role in J.D. Vance’s rise is telling. In 2022, his backing helped Vance secure Trump’s endorsement, clinching Ohio’s Senate seat. In 2024, Charlie’s advocacy at TPUSA’s People’s Convention, where Vance won a 43% straw poll, and well reported lobbying of Trump led to Vance’s VP selection on July 15, 2024, hailed by conservative leaders. With 3,500+ chapters by 2024, TPUSA’s Professor and School Board Watchlists reshaped US campuses. TPUK’s “campus clash” events in London, Nottingham, and Brighton, drawing millions online and challenging progressive academic dominance. Charlie’s recent 2025 Oxford and Cambridge visits, including the Oxford Union debate, which I attended, were electrifying. His defence of traditional values and critique of policies like the Civil Rights Act showcased a commanding presence, invigorating TPUK’s Oxford chapter and influencing university policy discussions. Charlie, part of President Trump's inner circle , drives these efforts, rallying students for intellectual freedom. His 2024 “You’re Being Brainwashed” tour, with two billion social media views, aided Trump’s victory, amplifying his policy influence. Trump’s 2025 appointment of Charlie to the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors aligns TPUSA with efforts to restore educational values. On Harvard Campus, TPUSA empowers students to challenge progressive dominance, shaping governmental approaches. In 2025, Trump’s administration targets “woke” programs, pressuring Harvard’s leadership. Harvards unwillingness to comply with basic US Homeland Security requests now seems to be placing its foreign students in an extremely tough position. It is our hope that the friendships forged in London, now battle-hardened against “woke” insanity, are indeed fuelling an educational renaissance in America, Oxford and Cambridge, and at all the world’s leading universities. Perhaps this is a unique and possibly divine manifestation of the much vaunted Special Relationship between the US and the UK. If so, long may it prevail. ----- * John Mappin is a commentator and entrepreneur known for his common sense views on cultural and political issues.
