I went to a Church yesterday... This Dussehra, I was in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. After a bit of pandal and jhanki hopping, I came across a church in the railway colony area. Out of curiosity, I decided to step inside; it was around 6:30 in the evening. As I entered, the first thing I noticed was that slippers had been left outside, just like in Hindu temples. Inside, many people were already seated on the benches. I joined them. Among the women present, some had visible sindoor on their foreheads, while others had none. They, in turn, looked at me with equal curiosity, probably because of the tilak on mine. I expected to see someone on the dais delivering sermons from the Bible, but instead, an audio recording was being played, very much like bhajans are played in temple. A man sat at the console, controlling the playback. As the audio filled the hall, the women began reacting in striking ways. Many raised their hands skyward, some started sobbing, others were chanting fervently, and a few behaved as if they were possessed. I noticed a direct connection between the pace of the audio and their reactions, when the tempo increased, the women in the front rows shook violently, and when it slowed, they calmed down, almost as if under someone’s control. How they were able to mobilise people without even being there is beyond belief, I have never seen Hindus even chanting Hanuman Chalisa dedicatedly, even if someone is standing and requesting them to. The atmosphere was growing more awkward by the minute. I felt uneasy sitting there. On the desk in front of me lay a schedule, which I skimmed through before deciding to walk out after a few more minutes. Having reported extensively on missionary conversions and church activities, I had always heard accounts but wanted to see for myself what happens at such prayer meetings. In Pilibhit, a Sikh man had told me: “They play music, we dance, and for a moment we forget everything. It is in that moment they make us chant ‘Yesu’.” Similar stories had surfaced during my coverage in Jharkhand, where many who had reverted back to Sanatan described how the Church stripped away joy from their lives. They said Hindu women were made to appear like widows, cut off from festivities and simple pleasures, as if life itself had lost its charm. And sitting inside that Bilaspur church, even for those few minutes, I could feel exactly what they meant. On the surface, it may seem simple that one could just meet these people, convince them that the missionaries are deceitful, and they would walk away. But today, as I sat there and watched them surrender themselves so completely, it shook me. The missionaries have silently harvested their souls, binding them in ways that cannot be undone with mere arguments. Bringing our people back will never be as easy as it appears. -Subhi Vishwakarma #Religiousconversions

A VOTE OF THANKS….👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙏🏾💍 Last Saturday was undoubtedly one of the most EMOTIONAL and MEMORABLE days of my life. Never in my WILDEST imagination did I think that I would find myself so OVERWHELMED with emotion simply by walking my baby sister, down the AISLE. What made the moment so emotional for both myself and GLENDOUR was the PAINFUL realization that our late mother was not there to WITNESS what would have been one of her PROUDEST moments of her life. I held back my TEARS knowing Mai NYARI / SISI CANI was definitely smiling on us up above from HEAVEN 🕊️ In our AFRICAN tradition and culture, a wedding is not truly a wedding until people have eaten GOOD FOOD, until their BELLIES are FULL and families have celebrated together DANCING the night away. What I witnessed on Saturday was indeed a WEDDING in every sense of the word. People ate, people celebrated, people laughed and people DANCED until late into the night. The décor was EXCEPTIONAL, the music was OUTSTANDING as we were SERANADED by timeless classics from great musicians such as the legendary KARIKOGA Leonard ZHAKATA and contemporary gospel music from Mathias Mhere. We were entertained by incredible dancers, and had the best MC of all time. All I can say is THANK YOU, to everyone who made this day a SUCCESS, giving special mention especially to the SERVICE PROVIDERS. More often than not, service providers are OVERLOOKED and at times UNDERPAID or SHORTCHANGED, as everyone tends to focus only on the Bride and Groom yet they spend months or weeks PLANNING for the wedding and PREPARING the decor etc. They are the first to wake up and some even SLEEP at the venue the night before yet they are the last to leave after CLEANING up the venue. Regrettably, they always get the LEAST recognition and paid a fraction of what they really DESERVE !!! In recognition of the EXCEPTIONAL work put in by the various service providers at TENDAI and GLENDOR’s wedding, I was pleased to give each of them a SMALL TIP a total of US$323,000 as follows; Maipa (MC) - USD20,000 Ishmael Tailor - USD20,000 Event Planner Tynvic - USD10,000 Ishmael Assistant - USD5k each x7 = USD35,000 Baba Kevy (MC) - USD10,000 Gilton videography - USD10,000 Gift photography - USD10,000 Dj Kimo - USD10,000 Prince Choreographer - USD10,000 Kuda the choreographer - USD10,000 Gracia Pabvute - USD10,000 Beyond Excellence Knowledge - USD10,000 Travellers band - USD10,000 Clyde Sound engineers - USD10,000 Karikoga Leonard Zhakata - USD50,000 Make up Artist Tsungi - USD10,000 Bridal Team x16 Владимир each - USD48,000 Munyai Onismo - USD5,000 Munyai chief - USD5,000 Venue Decor - USD10,000 Mathias Mhere - USD10,000 Thank you all for making this day an INCREDIBLE one. A day that will remain INDELIBLE in our hearts. To MR & MRS CHIROMBE 💍👩‍❤️‍👨, here is to a new GREAT CHAPTER…..🥂. I wish all the best in your marriage and PRAY that it be filled with LOVE and what God has joined together, let no one separate...🙏🙏🙏 #MR_&_MRS_CHIROMBE #MWM #Love_Lives_Here ❤️

Just found this write up on Liverpools Boys Pen from 1/2 So the boys who attended Liverpool’s home matches finally had a place they could call home. But it was far from a welcoming home and the kids who supported visiting teams knew better than to go in there. Robbie Ashcroft, who spent many a match watching his team from this vantage points recalls: “The kids who went on the Boys’ Pen were hard. You had to be a survivor even to queue up. You could not show fear. Fear would be pounced on. There were no away fans but the number of scraps before, during and after the match was scary. The Kop was warm and friendly - the Boys’ Pen was angry, aggressive and mean.” Neal Dunkin, author of “Anfield of Dreams” which recounted his life as a Liverpool supporter as both boy and man, described it as a “nest of vipers”. Musician and big LFC fan Peter Hooton remembers that while “The Kop was an all-welcoming society, The Pen – a caged jungle - was a holding ground for frustrated juveniles and sometimes a lonely place for newcomers”. The Pen was also once described as “a horrible place and the inspiration for ‘Lord of the Flies’”. Robbie Ashcroft describes the Pen as “a transit camp to Heaven” and “a rite of passage for any Liverpool kid in the 60s”. He also recalls that “The tradition in the Boys’ Pen was to get in early, try to get to the front and then, if you were hard enough, try to escape. All that effort to get in and all we wanted was to make an escape bid. The Kop was our freedom. . As the Kop filled up the boys in the Pen got braver and braver. One by one kids would make a dash for freedom. Some would climb the railings to the point where they almost met the rafters. They would sway on the top risking broken limbs or being impaled on rusty metal – just because you had to. Sometimes an official would pull the child’s leg to stop him jumping – that always seemed the more dangerous option. The Kop would cheer and chant, a fireman’s blanket of fans would gather to catch the kid and it was all over in seconds. The urchin would leap, the Kop would catch, and the kid would fall to the ground and, like a rat up a sewer, would disappear from view in the blink of an eye. The Kop would let out a mighty roar, the Boys’ Pen would let out a mighty squeal and the next escapee would line up, as the next decoy scrap would begin.” So, these were the little Kopites of the future, the kids who dreamed of the day when they would be old enough, big enough and strong enough to join the adults on the other side of the barbed wire that kept them in their own little corner. Robbie Ashcroft didn’t realise until he had claimed his own ‘spec’ on the Kop that the boys in the Pen were “producing an ear-splitting cacophony of screeching that was painful”. Another supporter with many years’ experience of watching Liverpool at Anfield, Christopher Wood, recalls a momentous occasion when that screeching was not just tolerable but effective. It happened at the home derby with defending champions Everton on 21 November 1970, shortly after the visitors had taken a two-goal lead. Chris was standing in the Paddock in front of The Main Stand: “I was alerted by a sound coming from somewhere to my right. Treble voices from the Boys’ Pen started to chant “No Surrender”, faintly at first and then louder with each repetition as others joined in. Within seconds adult voices from the main terrace were chanting too, drowning out the rallying cry that those lads in the Pen had started. It boomed out in defiance from twenty thousand plus throats young and old. People remember the comeback of November 1970; they remember the goals. But how many remember, as I do, how a bunch of kids refused to allow their blind faith to waver in the face of adversity and began a call to arms that resulted in a famous and emotional victory. The players won the match, but the comeback began in the Boys’ Pen and created a wall of sound that has rarely been matched or bettered.

Remembering film director Lloyd Bacon on his Birthday Born | December 4, 1889 in San Jose, California, USA Died | November 15, 1955 aged 65 in Burbank, California, USA Video | The “By a Waterfall” production number from Footlight Parade (1933) featuring 300 choreographed swimmers. One of the workhorses in Warner Brothers' stable of directors in the 1930s, Lloyd Bacon didn't have a career as loaded with classic films as many of his more famous contemporaries. What few “classics” he had his hand in (42nd Street (1933), Footlight Parade (1933) are so overshadowed by the dazzling surrealistic choreography of Busby Berkeley that casual film buffs today often forget they were actually directed by Bacon. While his resume lacks the drama of failed productions and tales of an unbridled ego, he consistently enriched the studio's coffers, directing a handful of its biggest hits of the late 1920s and 1930s. Bacon's career amounts to that of a competent ― and at times brilliant ― director who did the best with the material handed to him in assembly-line fashion. Lloyd Bacon was born into a theatrical family (his father was Frank Bacon, a playwright and stage actor). His parents enlisted all the Bacon children onto the stage. Despite having a strong interest in law as a student at Santa Clara College, Lloyd opted for an acting career after appearing in a student production of “The Passion Play”. In 1911 he joined David Belasco's Los Angeles Stock Company (with Lewis Stone), touring the country and gaining good notices in a Broadway run of the hit “Cinderella Man”, and gaining further experience during a season of vaudeville. He switched gears in 1915 and took a stab at silent Hollywood, playing the heavy in several of Gilbert M. 'Broncho Billy' Anderson's shorts and pulling double duty as a stunt man. With America's entry into World War I in 1917, Bacon enlisted in the Navy and was assigned to the Photo Department. This began a lifelong admiration for the service and might explain the Navy being a favourite recurring theme in many of his films. After the war's end Bacon moved from Mutual (Charles Chaplin's studio at the time) to Triangle as a comedy actor. It was at this point that he got his first taste of directing ― he had let everyone at the studio know he had an interest in helming a picture, and when the director of a now forgotten Lloyd Hamilton comedy short fell ill, Bacon was given his chance. Constantly moving, he joined tightwad producer Mack Sennett as a gag writer. Sennett, sensing a bargain, happily accommodated Lloyd's desire to become a full-time director by early 1921. The Sennett studio was already in an irreversible decline during Bacon's tenure there but it allowed the novice director to gain a wealth of experience. He apprenticed for Sennett until joining Warner Brothers in 1925, an association that would last a remarkable 18 years and begin when the working-man's studio was building a strong stable of contract directors that included Michael Curtiz, Alan Crosland, John G. Adolfi and Mervyn LeRoy. Although Lloyd never became known for a particular style other than a well-placed close up, his ability to bring in an entertaining film on time and within budget earned him such enormous respect from the five Warner Brothers that he was soon handed control over important projects, including The Singing Fool (1928), Al Jolson's follow-up to The Jazz Singer (1927), which grossed an unheard-of (for Warners, at least) $4,000,000 in domestic receipts alone ― the studio's #1 hit for 1928. Bacon was rewarded by becoming the highest paid director on the studio lot, earning over $200,000 a year throughout the Depression. He was called upon to direct the studio's big-budget production of Moby Dick (1930), which garnered good notices, but it's a version that's barely remembered today. The 1930s saw Bacon assigned to the assembly line; aside from the Busby Berkeley-choreographed films, he directed many of James Cagney's crowd-pleasing two-week wonders, including Picture Snatcher (1933) (Cagney once remarked that the schedule on that picture was so tight that, one time after he and the cast had rehearsed a particular scene, Cagney said, “OK, Lloyd, are you ready to shoot?” Bacon grinned and said, “I just did!”) and The Irish in Us (1935). As a reward, he was occasionally afforded more time and money on productions such as Here Comes the Navy (1934) and Devil Dogs of the Air (1935). He also directed Cagney's return effort after his ill-advised move to cheapjack Grand National Pictures after one of his periodic salary disputes with studio head Jack L. Warner ― the badly miscast if frenetic Boy Meets Girl (1938). This was one of Cagney's least critically acclaimed Warner Brothers films of the 1930s, but a smash hit for the studio. During his years at Warners, Bacon gained a reputation as a clothes horse, the dapper director arriving on the set dressed to the nines, wearing expensive hats that he would hurl around the set when expressing his dissatisfaction (he ruined a lot of hats) at an actor's performance or missed cue. Bacon continued to turn out profitable films for the studio until moving to 20th Century-Fox in 1944 (a logical move, since the recently discharged Darryl F. Zanuck knew Bacon from his early days at Warners). He stayed at Fox until 1949, then bounced among Columbia, Fox, Universal and finally the chaotically-run RKO in 1954. He worked virtually until his death from a cerebral hemorrhage at age 65.

#Mohbad is trending because today makes it One yesr since Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba's death. A year later his family is still seeking Justice. [Full Story, Events by Time & Date] Sam Larry x Naira Marley x Wunmi x Primeboy. Yesterday, his parents asked Nigerians to not be extra with the remembrance, as it is not a celebration. But some core fans still hit the streets to demand Justice in their own way. And many are throwing in digital tributes to the young star. According to Lagos police, Mohbad died after having a fight with his childhood friend, Primeboy and declared him wanted. But according to him , he wasn't with Mohbad because he and his wife Wunmi were having a misunderstanding. Later rumors suggested he was hit with a deadly charm by Primeboy at an ikorodu show, also, he died of ear infection and later it was alleged that his doctor (nurse) killed him. So fans pushed for an autopsy to properly determine the cause of Imole's death. As the story developed, his former label boss Naira Marley was accused of bullying him after he refused to continue with him, which allegedly forced Mohbad into depression. Later, Sam Larry was fingered as the chief whip, who did the physical bullying that led Mohbad into depression. Then, video of SL bullying Mohbad during a music shoot with Zlatan went viral further nailing SL to the allegations. Yet, NM didn't react to Ileri's passing until fans pressured him, then he reacted about 24hrs later. With a "💔". Barely 48hrs into his death, Mohbad was burried at Ikorodu, squeezed into an undersized casket, which forced his neck to break. Davido donated 2Million to assist in the burial. On the burial, CuteAbiola, OGB and a few people who tried to go to for the funeral were ambushed by hungry ikorodu touts, which they live streamed, convicing other stars to avoid the event. Bella Smhurda was equally absent, which fans didn't take likely. Later, Gistlover alleged that Mohbad was betrayed by Zinoleesky, because Mohbad refused to move dru/gs for NM, left their cult, so they tried to cancel him in the industry. Allegedly. Again, this time Abu Abel was alleged as a member of the dru/g syndicate. As the death and bullying of Mohbad was a hot topic, a document dating back to 27th June, showed where Mohbad wrote a petition to the police complaining about threat of his life from SamLarry Elegushi, Elele, Obele and Others, where he stated that SL jumped him with 15boys carrying weapons, assaulted him and destroyed equipments of over 8million. Yet, SL wasn't invited, allegedly. On the 14th of September 2023, Sam Larry deleted his Instagram page due to the heavy backlash from fans. On September 13th, Elegushi Royal family were forced to release a statement that Sam Larry is in no way affiliated to their family. On 15th of September Ben Hundeyin of Lagos police said they will exhume the body to begin investigation and autopsy. On same 15th, The Air Lords (Alora) published a statement distancing themselves from SL and NM with their established role in Mohbad's death. Recall, it was alleged that Mohbad refused to join them in the cult but favored Eyé, instead. Later that day. SL made a video stating that he loves Mohbad and denied both the club and set harrassment videos. Oh 19th, Daddy Mohbad shared his own side and understanding of the saga. Claimed that his son had been living on the edge for a long time. Later more videos leaked by Gistlover showed where Mohbad was saying that they overdosed him with drugs and called NDLEA on him, and they still poisoned him. That if anything should happen to him, SL should be held. Out of nowhere, on the 17th Madam Kemi Olunloyo accused Bella Shmurda of klling Mohbad. Poco Lee, Ebuka, Rema all shared their condolences on 17th, 5 days later. Salo teased that he had secrets that will put SL & NM behind bars for a long time. Both were later arrested, granted bail in November. After Spending 44 & 50 days in detention, respectively. Cont 1/2

Appreciation to Everyone who made the Fan Convention Possible. There are simply not enough words to express how grateful we are to everyone who became part of the Paint The Town Red Fan Convention. Over the course of two unforgettable days, we welcomed almost 1,500 attendees, with 1,200 meals distributed through the generous sponsorship of JLCENTERFLARES (ON HIATUS). Our journey began long before the event itself. Months of planning, revisions, sleepless nights, and endless preparations all led to this moment. But the real work started at 10:00 PM on 07/24, when our volunteers gathered to begin setting everything up. From that night until 4:00 AM on 07/27, after the final egress, they continued working almost nonstop. They sacrificed their sleep, endured physical exhaustion, carried heavy equipment, stood under the scorching heat for hours, and pushed through every challenge just to make sure every fan who walked into the venue had the best experience possible. As if the heat wasn’t enough, the first day ended with heavy rains that damaged parts of our setup and equipment. For a while, we honestly thought we wouldn’t be able to continue with Day 2. When we first submitted our proposal to SM MOA, we only had one dream: to promote JL and create a space where JL Stans could come together, celebrate, and simply enjoy being part of this community. To all our volunteers, thank you for choosing to serve instead of simply enjoying the event as fans. You gave your time, energy, and hearts without expecting anything in return. Whether you helped with setup, registration, crowd management, food distribution, cleanup, or behind-the-scenes tasks, every role mattered. This event would not have been possible without you. To all the participating fanbases and communities, thank you for taking the time to prepare and distribute your thoughtful freebies. Your passion and generosity added so much joy to the experience and made the event even more memorable for everyone who attended. To the staff of SM Mall of Asia, thank you for always being accommodating, patient, and ready to assist us whenever we needed help. Your support played an important role in making this event successful. Bitten...The Secret History Of Lyme Disease & Biological Weapons. 1,300 People Are Diagnosed With Debilitating Lyme Disease Every Single Day. The Government's 'Operation Paperclip' Unleashed A Disease Epidemic By Weaponizing Pathogen Filled Ticks At Plum Island & Fort Detrick. 500,000 new cases of Lyme disease are diagnosed every year...a disease unheard of prior to America's entomological warfare & bioweapons programs that began during WW2 & peaked in the 70s. Decades before the COVID outbreak when Americans first began hearing of dangerous “gain of function” virus studies, US bioweapons researchers were weaponizing bugs to make them more deadly & contagious. The US military ran a secret entomological weapons program where ticks, fleas & mosquitoes were filled with disease causing microbes & releasing them on enemies. The US Army summarized the advantages of bug-borne bioweapons in a 1959 report: “they inject the agent directly into the body, so that a mask is no protection to a soldier, & they will remain alive for some time, keeping an area constantly dangerous.” The long-term health effects of these “living weapons” on the health of humans & the environment are as devastating as nuclear fallout, & the human and societal damages are a violation of the 1972 Convention on the Prohibition of Biological Weapons. Evidence reveals that the US military conducted uncontrolled releases of pathogen-loaded ticks and aerosolized tick-borne diseases both inside & outside of USA borders. Disclosures include: • A CIA-funded operation where infected ticks were dropped from an airplane on Cuban sugarcane workers in 1962. To optimize pathogen-in-tick combinations for different climates & military objectives, bioweapons researchers force-fed ticks through glass capillary tubes with agents like Q fever (Coxiella burnetii), tularemia (Bacterium tularense), Weil’s disease (Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae), Western equine encephalitis virus, epidemic typhus (Rickettsia prowazekii), Asiatic Relapsing Fever (Borrelia latycheva), Leptospira pomona & the rabies virus. • An army-funded university researcher who worked as a contractor to the US entomological warfare program released hundreds of thousands of radioactive ticks in Montana & on the Atlantic Bird Flyway from 1966 to 1969, spreading non-native ticks & unnatural diseases along from the coast of Canada to South America via migratory birds. • The discoverer of the Lyme disease bacterium, Swiss-American scientist Willy Burgdorfer, admitted that he worked in the US biological weapons program & that the original 1968 disease outbreak of three novel tick-borne diseases (Lyme, babesiosis & spotted fever) around Lyme, Connecticut, was started by a bioweapons-related incident. He was pressured to suppress & bury his evidence. • There are reports that the US entomological warfare program set up an active mosquito testing program in subarctic Canada in 1949 & that they released three million radioactive mosquitoes in 1950. There were also aerosol tests of tick-borne tularemia. This testing coincided with an epidemic that struck several Eskimo villages, killing 20% of those afflicted. • In the 1960s, on an 840-acre island at the entrance to Long Island Sound, scientists at the highly guarded Plum Island Animal Disease Center were at the forefront of U.S. biological-weapons research. Specifically, they sought to create pathogens that could be deployed stealthily, via ticks. The nearby town of Old Lyme, Connecticut, became the epicenter of this released tick-borne illness. Children began to report unusual skin rashes, chronic fatigue, pain & swollen joints. In 1981, the condition was named Lyme disease,(Borrelia burgdorferi) after Willy Burgdorfer. The researchers at Plum Island had engineered a new sickness, one that causes 500,00 new cases in Americans per year. If you or a loved one is suffering from Lyme Disease, a ketogenic carnivore diet has been successfully implemented by 1000s of sufferers to put Lyme into remission. An elimination diet allows the body to have the time it needs to rebuild & heal with animal sourced foods with high bioavailable nutrition thru eggs, beef, tallow, ghee, butter, etc. As part of a total protocol to reduce inflammation using sun exposure, intermittent fasting, detox pathways & nutrient dense nutrition. 👇Scientists Use Pathogen Filled Ticks For War👇 👇Plum Island: US Pentagon Weaponized Ticks👇 👇United Nations Internal Lyme Document👇 Video: @jennifersierzant

Ch. 14 of NITRO: The Inside Story of Hulk Hogan's heel turn - #OTD 30 Years Ago (7/7/96)! AS DAY BECAME NIGHT at the Sullivan home, Bollea deliberated his participation in the pay-per-view. “Everybody was telling him that it was the wrong thing to do,” Kevin Sullivan says. “He was getting booed out of the arena, but they were all saying, ‘this is gonna kill him’.” With no end to the discussion in sight, the wily booker casually suggested that Bollea and Young make use of his two guest rooms until the morning. “I isolated [them],” Sullivan admits. “I was just afraid that at the last minute, he was going to use his creative control [clause] and pull out.” If Sullivan could deliver Bollea to the arena by showtime, the finish of the match called for Hogan to star in the most dramatic of surprise endings. In a sequence devised by Kevin Nash, an unannounced Hulkster would shockingly interfere in the match, but only after the heels gained an unfair advantage through cheating. It would be a brilliant misdirection, Nash thought, as fans would instinctively believe Hogan’s appearance to be in support of the babyface team. “I knew there were gonna be 55 different ideas,” Nash says, thinking back to the eve of the event, “[so] I actually put a lot of thought into it. I called Scott [Hall] two or three days before that, and said ‘what do you think about this?’ “We had to make it a 2-on-2 match with Lex Luger getting injured [during the match] and going out. We would cheat to get Macho [Man] in trouble and all of a sudden Hulk comes down, which of course would mean ‘ok, here comes Hulk to make the save’. [Hall] said, ‘I love it’.” There was, however, the looming possibility that Bollea could reject his turn at the eleventh hour. Thinking ahead, Eric Bischoff developed a contingency plan in which Sting would play the role, ultimately revealing himself - despite not having prior experience with the WWF - as the ‘third man’ instead. “I remember Eric came in to the locker room,” recalls Marcus 'Buff' Bagwell, “and said [to Sting], ‘I wanna talk to you about something’. I could hear them going over the idea, and then when they got done, Sting told me what they were talking about. He said that [Eric said], ‘there are only two guys that could turn heel where it would really matter’. That would be Hogan and Sting.” “He was offering Sting the job first, [as I recall], and Sting didn’t wanna do it. He didn’t really say it wouldn’t work, but he just said, ‘it doesn’t intrigue me. I don’t wanna do it’.” According to Andre Freitas, a special effects artist who worked in costume design and character development for WCW, the proposed Sting swerve was to involve the use of a doppelganger - or ‘phony’ Sting - presumably in an effort to fool fans that the real character had switched sides. “That was their original plan,” says Freitas. “Eric showed me a picture of Jeff Farmer (a lower-card wrestler) and said ‘can you make him Sting?’ I told him that they have similar bodies...then we looked at Sting’s hair and Jeff’s hair...and talked about all that stuff. I did a head cast for [Farmer] and some prosthetic and test make-ups. But when they secured Hogan, we didn’t do [the angle].” ----------- Amazingly, even as Bash at the Beach began, Bischoff continued to consider Plan B. “I remember walking by this perforated wall in the Ocean Center,” divulges Nash, “and Eric said to me, ‘Hulk is with Sullivan, and he’s not sure he’s gonna do it yet’. It was up in the air.” Meanwhile, viewers of the pay-per-view - and, for that matter, WCW’s own production staff - speculated as to the identity of the third man. “They were trying to ‘work’ everyone,” asserts Jason Douglas, a WCW producer backstage at his first pay-per-view event. “‘Rocket’ (staff member Rick Sancher) came up to me - they were kinda testing me because I was new on the road - and said ‘hey, I think it’s gonna be [WWF wrestler] Bret Hart’. I guess it was to see if I would leak something, and so I was just like ‘oh, cool, Bret Hart’.” In reality, aside from Bischoff, Bollea, Young, Hall, Nash and Sullivan, the turn would be concealed from everyone - even the announcers, according to orders from Bischoff - as to ensure their most realistic reactions. With less than an hour before the main event began, production staffer Woody Kearce discovered a revealing clue in the parking lot. A Hulk Hogan motorcycle had appeared mysteriously in one of the spaces, sparking another round of backstage conjecture. Finally, with what Sullivan recalls as “thirty minutes” and Bischoff remembers as “forty-five to sixty minutes” left on the air, Bollea belatedly arrived at the Ocean Center. The mood suddenly changed. Upon realizing that his star had been convinced, Bischoff began to relax. “Once he got to the building, I recall a sense of calm,” he reveals. “All of the anxiety, all of the tension, all of the worry, all of the effort to make sure things stayed quiet...all of that just kind of dissipated. It was like fog lifting when the sun comes out - it all just went away. I was thinking, ‘it is what it is, there’s nothing more I can do...so let’s just roll with it’.” To cement the turn, Bollea knew, he would have to deliver a monumental post-match promo to explain his actions. While typically, he enjoyed using Bischoff as a sounding board to rehearse interviews, the need for complete privacy - on this occasion - was unquestionably paramount. And so, away from prying eyes - and ears - the two met up in the most unglamorous of clandestine locations - a utility closet. In the midst of the run-through, Bischoff stopped to emphasize an important point: When you grab that microphone, I want you to say...‘this is the beginning of the new...world...order’. The phrase - ‘new world order’ - lingered auspiciously in the air. Bischoff surprised himself with the utterance, realizing slowly that the term encapsulated everything that the invasion storyline could represent. In 1990, then-president George H.W. Bush famously utilized the same expression in a speech to Congress, although its origin could actually be traced back to the 28th President, Woodrow Wilson. But if Bischoff was unsure as to the source of his spontaneous inspiration, perhaps the answer could be found closer to home - on the preceding Nitro, just six days earlier, announcer Larry Zybysko serendipitously made the following proclamation: “This Sunday, I promise you, there will be a new world order of wrestling…” Fans at the Ocean Center waited anxiously to see if Zybysko’s prophecy would materialize; for after all the hoopla, it was suddenly time for the main event. Before the opening bell, the audience was already on its feet for ring announcer@Michael_Buffer’s pre-match introductions. As Hall and Nash sauntered to the ring for The Hostile Takeover match, Buffer set the scene with theatrical aplomb: “Ladies and gentleman, at this time, let me introduce the men whose plan and goal is to takeover the WCW with force and hostility. We were told there would be three of these interlopers, and I must apologize as I have been informed - as you can see - there are only two. Ladies and gentleman, introducing...the Outsiiiiiders!” In a moment that played off perfectly on television, Sting’s entrance music began - and quickly ended - as ‘Mean Gene’ Okerlund traipsed cautiously into the ring. After exchanging quizzical looks with Buffer and referee Randy Anderson, Okerlund confronted the Outsiders to get some answers, an inspired plot device designed to build the tension even further. “Gentleman,” began Okerlund, “if I could have your attention...I don’t have police protection with me at this time, but I wanna confront you in front of this full house here at the Ocean Center, and millions of others watching across the country and around the world. I don’t see three men here tonight. Where is your partner?” Responding in a manner consistent with their WWF characters, Hall and Nash assured Okerlund that the third man was present - and ready. “Let me tell you something,” announced a confident Nash, “we got enough to handle it right now, right here.” Once more, Sting’s entrance music blared from the arena speakers, this time preceding the man himself, accompanied by Luger and Savage. “Here we go!” screamed color commentator Bobby Heenan as the wrestlers passed an unusually large contingent of security personnel on the entrance way. “The war is on!” Less than two minutes into the bout, Luger collapsed to the outside, a move in accordance with Nash’s plan to even the sides before the climactic reveal. “Now it’s two against two!” yelled Heenan. After a brief delay, the concerned crowd looked on as Luger left the arena on a stretcher, leaving Sting and Savage alone to fight valiantly for WCW. As the match progressed, the contemptible Outsiders used every trick to stall their opponent’s momentum, until a revitalized Savage began a furious rally at the fifteen-and-a-half minute mark. The invaders were suddenly down, but not out - as with the referee distracted, Nash landed a low-blow to bring the Macho Man to his knees. All four men lay on the canvas, exhausted, as referee Anderson started a ten count. As Anderson yelled ‘ONE’, several rows of spectators rose to their feet. Within seconds, the reaction diffused from section to section, the noise level increasing with each passing beat. On the live broadcast, viewers at home caught glimpse of a familiar figure making his way down the ramp. “Hulkamania!” screamed Dusty Rhodes on commentary while Hogan walked methodically towards the ring. Noticeably, the Hulkster seemed oddly disaffected - even out-of-character - but after exchanging the briefest of glances with the crowd, he continued stride with the din reaching fever pitch. “Whose side is he on?” bellowed Heenan, a question that seemed inexplicable given the history of Hogan’s on-screen persona. “Whose side is he on?” repeated Heenan, who as longtime fans could recall, had opposed Hogan for years as a manager in the WWF. For that reason, the comment flew over the heads of most (but not all) viewers; meanwhile, the live crowd was cheering as if their team had won the World Series. Nash and Hall retreated to the floor as Hogan tore off his shirt, an apparent signal that the archetypal good guy was here to save the day again. “Who’s bad now boys?” taunted play-by-play man Tony Schiavone on commentary, confident that WCW’s honor was no longer in jeopardy. Savage lay prone on the mat as Hogan surveyed the scene. Above the cheapest of cheap seats, peeking through a curtain with palpable anticipation, was Eric Bischoff. “I knew that something big was about to happen,” he recalls. “It was either gonna be a big failure, or a big success.” Seemingly out of nowhere, with his unsuspecting devotees enveloped in celebration, Hulk backed up to the corner. With the coldness of a serial killer, the once-honorable hero shockingly shoved referee Anderson, and executed his patented finishing move - the leg drop - to the helpless Macho Man below. The audience became completely, utterly unglued. “I was standing back with the announcers,” remembers Michelle Baines, newly hired as a production assistant. “One of the producers turned to me and said, ‘you need to go to the back’. “‘I said, ‘what do you mean?’ “She said, ‘it’s gonna get ugly real quick’.” “She was right - the crowd turned ugly quick.” In retrospect, it was clear that even as Hogan’s body approached the canvas - contact with Savage just milliseconds away - the gravity of the assault started to hit home. “What has he done?” questioned a crestfallen Rhodes, “is he the third man? What the hell is going on here?” Heenan was even more direct - “Hulk Hogan has betrayed WCW! He is the third man in this picture!” A breathless Schiavone could barely muster more than three words: Oh My God, he repeated. Oh My God, he continued, as Hogan high-fived a grinning Hall and Nash. The courageous Sting, stumbling to his feet to stop the injustice, was quickly dispatched, and in the coup de grace, Hogan tossed Anderson to the floor. Sardonically, he covered Savage for the pin, the contest now clearly a farce. “I hope you love it,” a disappointed Rhodes wailed on commentary. “You just sold your soul to the devil.” The third man was a mystery no more, and Hall, Nash, and Hogan raised their hands in victory to a genuinely astonished audience. The immediate outrage, which first gave way to shock, was now inspiring unmitigated rage. Simultaneously, the evil trio continued to taunt, pose, and antagonize while the announcers lamented WCW’s future. As Sting and Savage hobbled back to the locker room, a visibly distraught Okerlund returned to conduct an explanatory interview, based around the one Hogan and Bischoff had mapped out earlier. “Mean Gene,” commanded Hogan, “the first thing you need to do is to tell these people to shut up if you wanna hear what I gotta say.” For the next four minutes, Hogan rationalized his turn with remarkable clarity. “The first thing you gotta realize, brother, is this right here is the future of wrestling. You can call this the new...world...order of wrestling. These two men right here came from a great big organization up north, and everybody was wondering who the third man was. Well, who knows more about that organization than me, brother? I made that organization a monster. I made people rich up there. I made the people that ran that organization rich up there. And when it all came to pass, the name Hulk Hogan, the man Hulk Hogan, got bigger than the whole organization!” Bischoff watched from his secretive seat in amazement - he had not seen, nor had anyone, this intensity of emotion on display at a wrestling show before. It was almost as if the assembled masses had lost themselves in the performance, perhaps even forgetting, if only for a moment, that they were witnesses to a pre-determined event. Hogan’s actions had ostensibly interrupted their critical faculties; in other words, they had suspended their disbelief by reacting to the incident as if it were real. Moreover, the shock was manifesting in the most volatile ways imaginable, as in an incident edited out of future showings of the pay-per-view, a rather large man, likely intoxicated, ran into the ring before being knocked down by Hall and Nash. Concurrently, a stream of debris rained down from the stands, with one object hitting Okerlund, and the rest filling the ring in a stunningly unique visual. Hogan continued as the trash piled up around him, even referencing Ted Turner in his diatribe: “Billionaire Ted promised me movies brother. Billionaire Ted promised me millions of dollars. And Billionaire Ted promised me world caliber matches. And as far as Billionaire Ted, Eric Bischoff, and the entire WCW goes, I’m bored brother! That’s why I want these two guys here, these so-called Outsiders. These are the men I want as my friends. They are the new blood of professional wrestling, and not only are we going to take over the whole wrestling business...with Hulk Hogan, the new blood and the monsters with me, we will destroy everything in our path, Mean Gene.” “Look at all the crap in this ring,” responded Okerlund. “This is what’s in the future for you if you want to hang around the likes of this man Hall, and this man Nash.” Hogan raised his finger as if to stop the interviewer midstream, the perfect line instantly coming to mind. “As far as I’m concerned, all this crap in the ring represents these fans out here,” he boomed defiantly. “For two years, I held my head high,” ranted Hogan, alluding to his rather uninspired WCW tenure. “I did everything for the charities. I did everything for the kids. And the reception I got when I came out here, you fans can stick it brother! Because if it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan, you people wouldn’t be here. If it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff would still be selling meat from a truck in Minneapolis. And if it wasn’t for Hulk Hogan, all of these ‘Johnny come latelys’ that you see out here wrestling wouldn’t be here. I was selling the world out, brother, while they were bumming gas to put in their car to get to high school!” In closing, Hogan foreshadowed the future state of affairs in WCW with a prophetic preview of coming storylines: “With Hulk Hogan and the new world organization of wrestling, brother...me and the new blood by my side...whatcha gonna do when the new world organization runs wild on you? Whatcha gonna do? What are you gonna do??” Despite mistakenly bungling the ‘new world order’ phrase at the conclusion of his speech, Hogan still provided the perfect punctuation to a sensational heel turn. His promo, inarguably the most dynamic of his career, came across as strikingly authentic (“it felt real, because it was real’,” offered a proud Eric Bischoff upon reflection years later). On commentary, Schiavone - who most inspiredly suggested that Hogan had planned to double-cross WCW all along, since his debut in 1994 no less - added to the realism with some mournful final comments: “We have seen the end of Hulkamania,” he grieved. “Hulk Hogan, you can go to hell! We’re outta here. Straight to hell.” ---- To the layman, there appeared an obvious explanation for the feverous crowd response that accompanied Hogan’s turn. Clearly, the element of surprise - one of the key elements of Nitro’s success - had been exploited to a masterful degree (“nobody on earth thought that the third man was going to be Hulk Hogan,” highlights Nash). To Kevin Sullivan, however, there were several layers of story at play. “People thought that it was an invasion from the WWF,” he begins, implying that the success of the angle could be correlated to its realism. “They really bought into it, and when Hogan turned heel...they were sure of it. “So while Hogan gets the credit for the reaction, it was [Nash and Hall] who set the whole thing up. Those guys built the foundation of heat, and when Hogan came down, it just blew up.” “We were red hot coming off WWF television,” agrees Nash, “and then you had the biggest turn in the world on top of that. The biggest babyface of all-time finally turned heel!” To the ever-meticulous Sullivan, always a keen observer of the nuances present in a wrestling angle, an often overlooked element was also noteworthy. “He did it to Randy [Savage],” the booker emphasizes, speaking of Hogan’s betrayal. “People knew there was real-life heat there. That helped out too, but everyone played an intricate part. “Lightning...you can’t catch it in a bottle but one time.” The above is an excerpt from the book, NITRO: The Incredible Rise and Inevitable Collapse of Ted Turner's WCW. Charlie Kirk and Turning Point. A Special Relationship with London and the UK - Kirk's impact on Harvard, Oxford and Cambridge. By John Mappin In December 2018, a chance introduction, sparked a pivotal moment at London’s Royal Automobile Club, where my wife Irina and I hosted Charlie Kirk, and introduced the founder of Turning Point USA (TPUSA) to the UK. The exclusive evening was billed as “A Gathering of Political Genius,” it did not disappoint. The initiative was supported by Nigel Farage, and was backed by Robin Birley, Lord and Lady Tyrone Plunket, Amanda Eliasch, and Peter Southall. That night we launched Turning Point UK (TPUK), and forged priceless connections that helped to amplify TPUSA’s global momentum. The gathering highlighted Charlie’s vision. Today Charlie’s influence has helped to reelect President Trump and has totally changed the way that the US government interacts with universities like Harvard, Oxford, and Cambridge in combating the culturally deadly “woke mind virus.” Foreign students who are expecting to attend Harvard and other US Universities this autumn/fall who are not able to get visas today, to study in the USA are rapidly finding out that the rules of engagement have changed in US universities. Two weeks ago, joining Charlie in London and at his Oxford Union debate, I witnessed personally how his political power has soared. Today he commands a whole new level of influence. By December 2018, TPUSA, founded in 2012 with Bill Montgomery, already boasted a £6 million budget and had thousands of US campus chapters. In May 2025, TPUSA has over 1,000+ staff and over $100 million in annual donations. President Trump’s administration is amplifying Charlie’s impact—his endorsements are now highly sought after. Charlie’s rumoured role in J.D. Vance’s Senate and VP ascent is factual. Our 2018 London gathering remains well remembered example of British and American minds championing of freedom and it played a part in TPUSA’s rise both as a powerful political activist and as a vital force reshaping global education. Irina and I, and our respective families have been passionate about conservative values for several generations, but that December 2018 night in London, we saw in Charlie as did many of our friends, a trailblazer for sanity. Our gathering drew Britain’s conservative elite, thanks to internet platforms we turned TPUK’s London launch into a global event as many of our US friends were able watched the event online in as well. Several saw Turning point as an opportunity to export sane educational philosophy in their own countries and globally. Charlie, with Candace Owens, both at their most erudite, championed free markets and intellectual freedom. Thoroughly inspiring our British audience that night they laid the groundwork for influencing university policy not just in Britain, we all saw and witnessed the worldwide potential. Princess Gloria Von Thurn und Taxis heard about the London event, in Germany and immediately invited Kirk and Owens to her Palace at Regensburg. His Grace the Duke of Marlborough, James Marlbourough invited them both to visit him at Blenheim Palace and later participated in TPUK fundraising events in London. With help from TPUK, Charlie went on to establish chapters in Oxford, Sussex, and King’s College London, leveraging TPUSA’s rallies and viral media. His extraordinary ability to build and create an organisation and his validation of sanity where possible has fuelled his rise. Spending much valued private time with him in London and Oxford two weeks ago it was clear to me that Charlie has retained his all-too-familiar humility: “I don’t consider myself smarter than anyone else, I just work on the premise that I will outwork everyone else.” And work hard he certainly does. This was true in 2018 and is even truer now in 2025. The precision with which Charlie flips between direct and instantaneous communication with the White House, dynamic dinner subjects raised by his close coterie of London friends (while they plan the next surgical dismantling of the woke mind virus), and the hands-on management of his organisation and immediate team, is actually, awe-inspiring. Hard work is Charlie’s hallmark, and a perspicacity that seems to allow him to see exactly which issues the US voter cares deeply about. All this is totally confounding to the planners of the destructive agenda that assails mankind, Charlie is a conservative kingmaker. His podcast, The Charlie Kirk Show, with 100 million downloads yearly, makes his support vital for MAGA candidates. His posts on X highlight his role in GOP races, amplifying his policy influence. Charlie’s role in J.D. Vance’s rise is telling. In 2022, his backing helped Vance secure Trump’s endorsement, clinching Ohio’s Senate seat. In 2024, Charlie’s advocacy at TPUSA’s People’s Convention, where Vance won a 43% straw poll, and well reported lobbying of Trump led to Vance’s VP selection on July 15, 2024, hailed by conservative leaders. With 3,500+ chapters by 2024, TPUSA’s Professor and School Board Watchlists reshaped US campuses. TPUK’s “campus clash” events in London, Nottingham, and Brighton, drawing millions online and challenging progressive academic dominance. Charlie’s recent 2025 Oxford and Cambridge visits, including the Oxford Union debate, which I attended, were electrifying. His defence of traditional values and critique of policies like the Civil Rights Act showcased a commanding presence, invigorating TPUK’s Oxford chapter and influencing university policy discussions. Charlie, part of President Trump's inner circle , drives these efforts, rallying students for intellectual freedom. His 2024 “You’re Being Brainwashed” tour, with two billion social media views, aided Trump’s victory, amplifying his policy influence. Trump’s 2025 appointment of Charlie to the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors aligns TPUSA with efforts to restore educational values. On Harvard Campus, TPUSA empowers students to challenge progressive dominance, shaping governmental approaches. In 2025, Trump’s administration targets “woke” programs, pressuring Harvard’s leadership. Harvards unwillingness to comply with basic US Homeland Security requests now seems to be placing its foreign students in an extremely tough position. It is our hope that the friendships forged in London, now battle-hardened against “woke” insanity, are indeed fuelling an educational renaissance in America, Oxford and Cambridge, and at all the world’s leading universities. Perhaps this is a unique and possibly divine manifestation of the much vaunted Special Relationship between the US and the UK. If so, long may it prevail. ----- * John Mappin is a commentator and entrepreneur known for his common sense views on cultural and political issues. VALENTINES DAY IS A PAGAN HOLIDAY CALLED LUPERCALIA The first man named Valentine, was Lupercus (The hunter). Nimrod King of Babylon, worshipper of Baal, was known as the mighty Hunter and was the Romans Lupercus. Lupercalia is a blood ritual falling on 13, 14, and 15. Valentine's Day or Lupercalia is just another occult holyday celebrating Osiris, Ra, Moloch, Baal, Lucifer, Saturn, etc all which represent the occult esoteric mystery schools and Babylonian Mystery Religion sun worship. This is who they are, astrotheologists and today is one of their ritual Holydays. Keep your children close as sacrifice will be taking place it started yesterday will continue today at the peak and also tomorrow. Not to mention last night was also a full moon "Snow moon" Futhermore.... keep in mind King Nimrod built Babylon and commissioned the building of the tower of Babel to reach God and become God. "Valentines day is currently celebrated on February 14th. In ancient Babylonian times the solstice occurred on January 6th, Nimrod’s true birthday. It was the custom of antiquity for the mother of a male child to present herself for purification on the 40th day after the day of birth. The 40th day after January 6th is February 15th. The Lupercalia celebration began on the evening of February 14th hence our current holiday, St. Valentine’s Day. Nimrod was the original St. Valentine but he wasn’t called that during Lupercalia annual celebration. The name Valentine originated in Rome. Valentine was also known as Saturn (Satan), and Nimrod, the Roman Babylonian god who hid from his pursuers in a secret place. The Latin word Saturn is derived from the Semitic-speaking Babylonians. It means “Be hid,” “Hide self,” “Secret,” “Conceal.” The original Semitic (Hebrew) word, from which the Latin Saturn is derived, is used 83 times in the Old Testament. According to ancient tradition, Saturn (Nimrod) fled from his pursuers to Italy. The Apennine Mountains of Italy were anciently named the mountains of Nembrod, or Nimrod. Nimrod briefly hid out at the site where Rome was later built. The ancient name of Rome, before it was rebuilt in 753 B.C., was Saturnia, the site of Saturn’s (Nimrod’s) hiding. There he was found and slain for his crimes. Later, professing Christians in Constantine’s day made Nimrod the St. Valentine of the heathen, “A Saint of the Church,” and continued to honor him under the name of a Christian martyr. Valentine was a common Roman name. The parents of Rome often gave this name to their children in honor of the famous man who was first called Valentine in antiquity. That famous man was Lupercus, “The Hunter” (Nimrod). The Greeks called Lupercus, “Pan.” The Semites called Pan, “Baal,” according to “Classical Dictionaries.” Baal is often mentioned in the Bible and this was merely another name for Nimrod, “The mighty Hunter” (Genesis 10:9). The hunter, Nimrod was the Lupercus, or wolf hunter of the Romans. And St. Valentine’s Day was originally a day set aside by the pagans in his honor. Valentine comes from the Latin word “Valentinus,” a proper name derived from the word “Valens,” meaning, “To be strong,” as illustrated in the Webster’s Unabridged Dictionary. It means strong, powerful, mighty. Another name for Nimrod was “Sanctus,” and “Santa.” The Romans acquired the symbol of the heart from the Babylonians. In the Babylonian language for “Heart” was “Bal.” The heart, or “Bal,” was merely a symbol of Nimrod the “Baal” (the name of Satan), or Lord of the Babylonians. Another Nimrod name as a child, was “Cupid,” meaning desire (Encyclopedia Britannica, art., “Cupid”). It is said that when Nimrod’s mother saw him, she lusted after him, and desired him. Nimrod became her “Cupid,” her desired one. As Nimrod grew up, he became the child-hero of many women who desired him. He was their Cupid. In the Book of Daniel he is called the “Desire of women” (Daniel 11:37). Moffatt translates the word as Tammuz, a Babylonian name of Nimrod. He provoked so many women to jealousy that an idol of him was often called the “Idol of jealousy” (Ezekiel 8:5). The pagans commemorated their hero-hunter Nimrod, or Baal, by sending heart shaped love tokens to one another on the evening of February 14th as a symbol of him. The heart shape that we use today is given out on Valentines Day in forms of chocolate and candy, because it’s considered a day of love and lovemaking. The shape of this heart is not in the shape of a human heart. It derives from an extinct plant called, “Silphium.” Silphium was the most effective birth control of its time. It was so popular that its shape was used on Greek coins." Even more interesting.... Lupercalia = Wolf Festival (literally) Lupercalia comes from Lupercus, an old Italic god. Lupercus = “he who wards off wolves” or “wolf god.” The festival was held at the Lupercal Cave, where: Romulus and Remus were suckled by a she-wolf (lupa) Rome’s origin story is wolf-raised So from the jump: Rome = founded by wolves Lupercalia = ritual honoring wolf power The Luperci: Men Who Became Wolves (Symbolically) The priests of the festival were called Luperci. During the rite they: Sacrificed goats and a dog (both linked to wildness and liminality), smeared blood on their foreheads Laughed it off, ritual rebirth, stripped nearly naked and ran through the city whipping people with goat hides This matters because in Indo-European cultures: Nudity + blood + animal skins = transformation rites These are the same elements later associated with berserkers and werewolves. The Luperci weren’t pretending to be wolves. They were ritually assuming wolf nature. Lupus, Lupa, Lycanthropy. Same Root Family Latin lupus = wolf Greek lykos = wolf Lycanthropy = lykos (wolf) + anthropos (man) Roman writers knew this connection. Pliny the Elder records Arcadian wolf-men legends where: A man eats human flesh during a ritual. Becomes a wolf for 9 years. Can return to human form if he abstains. Lupercalia happened mid-February, a dangerous threshold: Winter to Spring Death to Fertility Order to Chaos Werewolves always appear in liminal spaces: - Full moons - Forest edges - Night - Seasonal transitions Same psychology. Same symbolism. When Christianity absorbed Rome: Lupercalia was banned. Wolf symbolism was flipped from sacred protector to demonic shapeshifter. Saint Augustine and later medieval clergy reframed wolf-men as servants of Satan and turned ritual transformation into curses. Now research: Dogman Sources: Video credit: A call for Vengence Youtube

Inside VP Shettima's Philosophy of Humble Service By Stanley Nkwocha Beyond his administrative prowess and impressive work ethic, which are immediately apparent even to first-time visitors, working closely with Vice President Kashim Shettima Senator Kashim Shettima teaches one the essence of compelling humility. I can confidently say that humility is deeply embedded in his character and radiates from him naturally. Having travelled with him on most of his trips, every day serves as a lesson on how not to let power go to one's head. What is even more remarkable is how he maintains his composure and humility despite having served as governor for eight years. Having known him for more than two decades, I am continually amazed and humbled by how he blends respect and dignity for human life, treating both the humble and the mighty with equal regard. I say this with all respect and a sense of responsibility. Just last Saturday, as we made our way to his relatively modest house in Maiduguri—where he had come to spend Eid Mubarak and attend to some official duties—a crowd had gathered to welcome him and seek entry into his residence. As is typical with VIP protection, the security personnel attached to him would not allow this for obvious security reasons. When it comes to protecting VIPs, their professionalism never wavers. They protect vigilantly and never compromise. Unfortunately for them, this VP always prefers simplicity and maintaining a down-to-earth approach. Upon noticing the crowd being kept away from his residence, a visibly upset VP stepped out of his vehicle and ordered in Hausa: "Open the gates for them. Let everyone in. We'll all go in together." I watched as his main sitting room filled to capacity within seconds. Minutes later, everyone joined him for prayers and subsequently shared a meal with him. As I observed people dining with the Vice President, several recent incidents came to mind. One occurred during an international trip to Switzerland, another at the office, and most recently at the Presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport last Friday. The latter involved former President Olusegun Obasanjo. At the recent World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, VP Shettima had just concluded a session and returned to his accommodation to prepare for the next one when he noticed some aides who had come to welcome him back. The elevator had opened for him when he suddenly turned back and looked at the aides, asking, "Have you all eaten?" Noticing their hesitation to respond, especially in a foreign land where most would crave Nigerian food but it might not be readily available, the VP responded immediately without waiting for their answer: "Let's all go upstairs and have a meal together." It's difficult to describe how everyone felt at home with the VP as they took advantage of his warm invitation, including myself. Another humbling experience occurred during the last Christmas holiday when a trip was scheduled for him. The Christians on his main team—about four of us out of eight—had naturally reported for duty. When he arrived and we were about to head to the airport with our luggage, he sharply asked, "Where are you guys going?" Before we could answer, he said firmly, "Go home and spend the holiday with your loved ones. Come back after the holidays. If there's anything urgent, I'll call." We stood speechless as we watched the convoy speed away. While such sensitivity was certainly noteworthy, perhaps the humility he displayed recently when he encountered former President Olusegun Obasanjo Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport was most remarkable. Having just landed in Abuja from Mokwa in Niger State, where he had gone to inspect flood devastation in the area, the VP's motorcade was positioned to escort him from the airport according to protocol. As he approached the motorcade, he was informed that elder statesman and former President Olusegun Obasanjo would arrive within minutes, scheduled to fly out of Abuja from the same terminal. Immediately, VP Shettima ordered his motorcade to move aside to make way for the former President's arrival and decided to wait respectfully to honour the elder statesman. As soon as the former President's motorcade stopped and his car door opened, the VP approached him and shook his hand, extending warm pleasantries. While they exchanged friendly conversation, it was easy to see the mutual respect and esteem both men held for each other. It was only after OBJ departed that the VP's motorcade proceeded to escort him away. These moments, seemingly small yet profoundly telling, capture the essence of a leader who has never forgotten where he came from or the people who serve alongside him. In a world where power often breeds arrogance and distance, VP Shettima stands as a rare example of how authority can coexist with authentic humility. Humility, loyalty, and unwavering respect might be mere words to some; however, they continue to define this VP's character. Indeed, I dare say these qualities, along with his astute competence, must have endeared him to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Bola Ahmed Tinubu and continue to do so. For those who hope for discord between the two leaders, they will be disappointed. The commitment, loyalty, humility, and total dedication to the Renewed Hope Agenda that the Vice President demonstrates with graceful humility are noticed by many, except perhaps by a few who covet the VP's position. As the Vice President often says, "Gentlemen, let's keep our eyes on the ball. Let no one distract us. This President must succeed. Everyone should focus their energy on supporting his administration's efforts. Don't mind those sponsored troublemakers writing lies always." As we continue to work toward the historic success of President Tinubu's administration and his enduring legacy, the manner in which the VP gracefully discharges his duties with such loyalty and humility remains exemplary to me. Happy 4th of July USA 🇺🇸🥳 New York's Mayor Zohran Mamdani delivers the speech that President Trump should be delivering to mark the occasion 👏 "Good morning, my fellow Americans. Season after season, year after year, the tides have come in and out of New York harbor long before the name New York had ever been spoken. Lenape dugouts crossed these currents. " "It was on these waters that tall masts crested the horizon, captained by explorers like Verrazano and Hudson, after whom we've named our bridges and rivers. And ever since, ships full of travelers weary from long journeys have passed through the Narrows, the winds of the Atlantic at their backs. " "When those passengers lifted their heads to glimpse what lies just beyond the waves, what did they see? They saw land lush and teeming with life. They saw men waiting at the docks to take them into bondage. They saw tenements rife with squalor. " "They saw industry rumbling with activity, steam and smoke rising. A city on the move. They saw a towering monument to freedom, her torch glowing worldwide welcome. They saw New York City. They saw America. Tomorrow. " "Our nation marks 250 years since we declared our independence. 250 years of a grand experiment in self governance. An experiment so audacious that some in 1776 doubted it would last more than a few years, let alone a quarter of a millennium. " "From Lexington to Los Angeles, Selma to Seneca Falls, Morrisania to Midwood, Americans will come together for a day, just as we do each year. Families will gather around the grill. Fireworks will fill the night sky. This will be no ordinary day of celebration. " "250 years presents a rare opportunity for more than 340 million people to turn together both towards one another and towards ourselves, to take measure of who we are as a nation. When we look at America, what do we see here at City hall, as I sit behind George Washington's desk alongside new Americans who came to this country, I cannot see all of America. " "But like so many who came before, I can see New York City. The city I see today looks very different than the one that greeted George Washington in July of 1776. Our city simmered under the yoke of oppression the British had imposed, a colonial rule so repressive that 250 years ago, 80 miles south, a small group of newspaper editors, farmers and soldiers signed their names on a document declaring truths that feel self evident now but were revolutionary then, establishing the ideals our nation still strives to fulfill. " "The British did not take it well. War broke out. And that August, as the largest battle of the Revolutionary War unfolded in Brooklyn, batteries on Governor's island took aim at British ships anchored just offshore. We were outgunned, we were outmanned, and we were soundly defeated. " "After only a Few months, it appeared our fledgling attempt at democracy was on the precipice of collapse. But that night, with the moon overhead, thousands of our soldiers silently climbed into ferries and flat bottomed boats and escaped to Manhattan. The Continental army survived to fight another day. " "Independence may have been declared in Philadelphia, but it was rescued in New York City. George Washington was the last to leave Brooklyn. As he waited at the river's edge, the sun beginning its rise, he would have looked out over New York City's waters and seen what so many have seen in the 250 years since. " "An opportunity to begin anew. Those opportunities, like everything in New York City, are not given. They are won. In 1838, 11 years after New York outlawed slavery, a, recently emancipated black man by the name of James Weeks sought to begin anew as well and to help hundreds of others do the same. " "He bought property in Brooklyn, won himself the right to vote, and sold lots to others newly freed. When they landed in New York harbor, they knew they had something waiting for them that they had never had before. A, home. Weeksville still stands today. A living, breathing testament to what we know America to be. " "A place each of us has the power to make. The harbor was busy those years as ships poured in from around the world. Hundreds of thousands of Irish immigrants arrived with stomachs aching from a famine manufactured by imperial cruelty. Chinese sailors settled in what is today Chinatown. " "Millions more traveled under the Statue of Liberty and through Ellis Island. Jewish people escaping pogroms, Italians fleeing poverty, Syrians seeking economic opportunity. Each of these new arrivals peered through portholes onto a city that was changing as fast as the nation. " "They saw merchants peddling their wares on the docks, streets being laid out on a grid, buildings rising into the clouds. They could not yet see the nativism they would face, the jobs they would be refused, the landlords who would not rent to them, and the abject labor and living conditions they would withstand. " "But no matter how much smog hung over the harbor, they still saw an opportunity to begin anew. Over the years that followed, despite laws enacted by the federal government to bar their entry, despite sweatshop fires that killed hundreds of women, despite riots aimed at their very existence, immigrants made homes here in New York City. " "And they helped to make New York City. That legacy of every generation of Americans insisting that the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness extends to them too, is no relic of the past. It carried millions of black Americans north during the Great Migration. " "It drew hundreds of thousands of Puerto Ricans to New York City after the Second World War. It invited countless others from the West Indies and South Asia and West Africa and across the world. And it is what brought my family to the city when I was seven years old. My family did not arrive by boat, although we saw the Statue of Liberty. " "From the window of the plane, even from the air, we could make out the promise of America, the promise of the beautiful, patriotic work of rendering America, year after year, a little more faithful to its founding ideals. There is a term so often used to describe our nation and those who have shaped American exceptionalism. " "American exceptionalism, that conventional wisdom tells us makes our freedom a little more free, is how we dug the Erie Canal and irrigated the west, is why children in faraway lands grow up dreaming of one day moving here. And yet, the irony is that the story of America has so often been written by those who were told by others with power and influence and wealth that they were anything but exceptional. " "For generation after generation, we have been told that when the world has sent its people to our shores, it has not sent its best. It sent Puritans and Sikhs and Quakers and Muslims and Jewish people who were banished for praying the wrong way, worshiping the wrong gods, angering the wrong people. " "It sent peasants and serfs from slums and shtetls who were treated as less because they hardly owned clothes, let alone land. It sent immigrants from whom power was something someone else had. We are told that America is exceptional because we are richer, stronger, more powerful than everyone else. " "The truth, my friends, is that America is exceptional because here nothing is fixed into place. The frontier may be closed, we may have walked on the moon, but the work of fulfilling the values first enshrined in the Declaration of Independence, that work endures, and it belongs to us all. " "It belongs, too, to our newest Americans, those standing here with me today, all of whom were recently naturalized nearly a decade ago. I, too, felt what you feel. The joy of no longer being just a New Yorker, but an American, too. You each hold a special power, the power to determine what America means. " "The powerful have always known their answer. America, in their view, is an arena of supremacy, where only a select few are allowed freedom, where not all are created equal. America, if you ask them, becomes less the more people it welcomes. America, they will tell you, belongs only to those with the right accent or the right shade of skin. " "The rest of us, they insist, should be grateful for merely being allowed to visit. How small they are, how weak, how unoriginal. At every moment in our past, those who led through Exclusion and isolation have tried to win power and enrich themselves by turning us against one another. " "Division is the oldest trick in politics and the cheapest. But time and again, including 250 years ago, those forces of division have been vanquished by the forces of progress. As Thomas Paine once wrote, this new world hath been the asylum for the persecuted lovers of civil and religious liberty. " "Hither have they fled. And yet today, too many of our leaders do not believe in a vision of this nation as an asylum for the persecuted, but rather as one that persecutes those seeking asylum. As we mark 250 years, what do we see? " "We see a city of contradictions within a nation of contradictions. We see the wealthiest country in the history of the world, one where children go to sleep hungry while the world's first trillionaire hungers for more. We see monopolies that dominate every industry and oligarchs who buy elections. " "We see mass agents terrorizing our streets, eating food cooked by our undocumented neighbors before spiriting them away in unmarked vans. We see a nation whose immense wealth has been built by those with calloused, dirt streaked hands, those who toil on factory floors and chisel into stone. " "And we see a nation that has allowed so much of that wealth to be held instead in the soft hands of a precious few. Yes, we see America in a health insurance industry that exploits the sick. But that is not all we see when we look for America. We see it, too, in the nurse who works a double shift and then stops on her way home to check on an ailing neighborhood. " "Yes, we see America in corporate landlords for whom negligence is a business model. We see it, too, in the father who tucks his children into bed beneath a ceiling stained with leaks, who wakes before dawn to go to work and still believes his country can do better by his family. " "Yes, we see America when we spend our tax dollars on bombs and bailouts, when we sell our elections to the highest bidder. Yet we see it just as clearly in every American who still believes this country belongs to we the people. We see America each time neighbors link arms with neighbors without asking how long they have lived here or what papers they have as ice invades our neighborhoods. " "We see America each time those young and old stand in the beating rain or the stifling heat to cast their ballots. We see America each time working people demand more, not just for themselves but for their fellow Americans. There are some who respond to those who ask for more from America with a simple love it or leave it they say. " "But patriotism has never been about pretending our nation is without flaws. Patriotism is every act of righteous dissent. It is every march led under the heavy sun. It is every protest held a decade before its time. It is precisely because we love this nation that we will not leave it. " "After all, who loves America more than those who have sacrificed so much to make it free Today? I think not only of the 4th of July, I think too of the 9th of July. Five days after the Declaration of Independence was signed, it arrived here in our New York City. " "Redcoats had disembarked on Staten island. More than 100 British ships loomed just offshore. Across this city, the Continental army prepared for an invasion. George Washington commanded his brigades to assemble just a few feet from this building. " "It was known then as the Commons. Today we call it City Hall Park. There, within range of British guns, Washington ordered his generals to read the Declaration aloud. And with the world's mightiest empire poised to attack, Washington told the people of New York City what we will celebrate tomorrow. " "That we had declared our independence. That freedom was within reach. That evening, danger loomed. Conflict was not a question, but a certainty. And yet, when those early New Yorkers marched toward the statue of King George III that stood in the Bowling Green, a statue they would melt down into bullets for their young army, they walked in unison, grounded not in the pursuit of plunder, but in ideals that for the first time had a name. America. " "Those ideals upon which our nation was built, they are strong enough to endure any authoritarian regime, but only if we reach for them. Ours is a nation working each day towards the perfection in which it was conceived. A nation striving each day to better itself. " "Therein lies the work of America. The striving, the bettering, the reaching towards perfection. What a privilege each of us has to live in a nation that every one of its inhabitants can shape. What a responsibility each of us possesses to prove ourselves worthy of all those who came before. " "What power each of us holds to bring America ever closer to the greatness so many have seen when they looked upon these shores. The greatness that for 250 years has been America. Thank you. God bless America, God bless New York City and happy fourth of July. "

THE TRUTH ABOUT OCTOBER 7TH: Reports confirm that Netanyahu, the Mossad and the IDF deliberately allowed the October 7th attack by Hamas to take place. They knew one year in advance of the attack and did nothing to stop it. They deliberately stood down during the attack allowing many more innocent Israelis to be slaughtered in order to get domestic and international support for war in Gaza and Iran. HOW DID OCTOBER 7TH HAPPEN? On October 7th, Hamas was able to carry out its shocking terror attack against Israel, despite Israel’s intelligence, military and security apparatus commonly considered the best in the world. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself tweeted and quickly deleted a statement denying any foreknowledge of the October 7th attack. “Under no circumstances and at no stage was Prime Minister Netanyahu warned of war intentions on the part of Hamas" the tweet said, before it was promptly deleted. Why did Netanyahu’s team delete that tweet? Because in fact he did have intelligence that there would be an attack by Hamas and tried to hide this from the world. Foreign security services, Israeli security services and the Israeli public all knew that Hamas was planning a violent, cross-border incursion where they would attempt to over-run and attack the kibbutz communities in southern Israel and take prisoners back to Gaza. And they also knew when. But it happened anyway. Why? Ten days before the attack, and then again three days before the attack, Egypt intelligence officials passed “repeated warnings” to the highest levels of Israel’s government. In one of these warnings, Egypts premiere intelligence minister General Abbas Kamel personally called Netanyahu and warned that Hamas was about to do “something unusual, a terrible operation.” Unnamed Egyptian officials told YNET News that they were shocked by Netanyahu’s “indifference to the news.” But Israel didn’t have to trust or believe Egypt, because actually, most of the warnings of the October 7th attack came from Israeli civilians and the Israeli military itself. The civilians and soldiers who brought these emergency warnings to the military were ignored and in some cases, strangely enough, threatened with legal action. In 2022, the IDF, through confidential sources, or spies, in Gaza, actually obtained the detailed Hamas Al Aqsa Flood attack plans. Codenamed “Jericho Wall” by Israel, the excursion plan called for a barrage of rockets to begin the attack and for gunmen to pour into Israel en masse via para-gliders, on motorcycles and on foot and take hostages back into Gaza, all of which happened on October 7th. Hamas followed the blueprint that Israel already had with shocking precision. So Israel had the attack blueprints, but were they taken seriously by the IDF? Yes, the plans were diligently studied. A presentation on the planned attack was given to senior officers in the IDF’S Gaza division. The presentation concluded with this sentence: “This invasion constitutes the gravest threat that IDF forces are facing in the defense of Israel” So in response to this, did Israel’s security establishment beef up and enhance their surveillance of Hamas militants on the other side of the border? No, stunningly, they actually did the exact opposite. They decided to entirely stop monitoring Hamas’s handheld radio traffic. Because they saw it “as a waste of effort” even though during that same time in 2022, Israelis living in the kibbutz communities near the Gaza border, most of whom have some type of military training due to Israel’s mandatory IDF service laws, were, according to Israeli media, picking up clear evidence that Hamas was “practicing the breaching of the fence and conquering kibbutzim and seizing hostages and destroying everything in their path.” Then, In April 2023, 6 months before the attack, again according to Israeli media, the IDF “restricted the ability” of Israelis living near the border “to monitor Hamas’ wireless traffic.” In September 2023, less than a month before the attack, the head of the IDF’s “Devil’s Advocate” intelligence unit, which challenges prevailing narratives within Israel’s military, twice alerted senior decision-makers in both the army and political spheres about Hamas’ plans for a large-scale cross-border military operation. He reiterated these warnings in person at Intelligence Branch strategic assessment sessions on September 26th and 27th. Just days before the attack. So it was clear to everyone that Hamas wasn’t only planning to do something horrible, but it was also clear what that horrible and evil thing was. According to a female IDF soldier who spoke to Israel’s channel 12 news program, she was constantly trying to warn her superiors about the gravity of Hamas training exercises. She was threatened with legal action. “We were told that if we continue to harass on this issue, you will stand trial.” So, Egypt knew, the Israeli military knew, and the Israeli civilians knew. Yet, two days before October 7th, the Israeli military took two entire commando brigades, or around 100 soldiers, away from the the soon to be breached locations of the Gaza border and sent them to the other side of the country, to the West Bank village of Huwara despite no Hamas presence being in Huwara and despite there being giant Israeli dance parties taking place right along the same border fence where violent, escalating and obvious Hamas drills of breaching and kidnapping were taking place. According to Israeli media reports, Lt. Col. Sahar Fogel, an operations officer at the IDF’s Gaza Division, opposed the approval of the Nova Party based on the last minute nature of its event application and the intensifying Hamas drills at the border and because if something were to happen, more soldiers were on holiday. It was the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The Lt. Col. explained his opposition to the party’s approval to his superiors. He was instructed to allow the event. Israeli Newspaper Haaretz reported that other Gaza division officers privately “told of irregular conduct and pressure surrounding the approval of the party.” In February 2024, Elkana Federman, the head of security for the Nova festival gave an interview to Israel’s Channel 14 where he made a statement that hasn’t been reported on by any American media. “I had a guard at the festival who had served in the Re’im Division [near Gaza border], and a week before the festival he sent me a voice message, basically warning me, saying, ‘Elkana, something is going to happen over Sukkot. I just wanted to let you know, there are a lot of warnings, I passed the voice message on to local IDF officials and they told me everything was all right.” The Hamas attacks were violent and brutal. They have been likened to tragic events such as September 11th and the Holocaust, so it comes as a surprise that Benjamin Netanyahu and members of his Likud party have at times described the attacks as somewhat of a political gift. Nissim Vaturi, a member of Netanyahu’s Likud party in the Knesset, referred to the attack as sort of gift from God because they are being used to justify the current ongoing war, stating: “We were meant to fight this war against Hamas, as is happening now, and luckily for us it came from the heavens.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu explained that Israel didn’t have domestic or international support to invade or destroy Gaza. He said the October 7th Hamas attack solved both of those problems for him, stating “We couldn’t get the domestic consensus to make a definitive solution to the problem of Hamas. That is, no one would agree across the Israeli public to go in and basically destroy Hamas, go throughout Gaza and destroy Hamas. We didn’t have the international consensus either; nobody would understand why we are doing it. Both conditions were created because of the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th.” Did the Israeli military, the Israeli intelligence community, and the political leadership of Israel allow this ghastly attack to happen to justify wiping out the population of Gaza? The evidence proves, yes. WHERE WAS THE IDF? During the October 7th attacks what did the Israeli military do? For hours they did nothing, it was a deliberate military stand down order. It's important to remember that Israel is just slightly bigger than the size of the state of New Jersey. But for some reason, once the Hamas attacks began, the time it took the Israeli army and rescue teams to arrive, fight and rescue Israelis at the different kibbutz communities and sites being attacked took anywhere from 4 hours to more than 20 hours. The New York Times has reported: “Thousands of soldiers were less than 40 minutes from the towns that were under attack.” A video that Israeli media obtained from an army helicopter, corroborated by Israeli survivors, prove that there were more than 500 Israeli soldiers directly outside of the Kibbutz entrance, fully armed, with Humvees and tanks but it took 10 hours for those soldiers to show up. Avital, a survivor of the Be’eri attack, described to Haaretz: “500 soldiers stood outside, with equipment and vehicles. I remember yelling at them, ‘We’re being slaughtered, come in, save us and no one said anything.” So why did it take so long for help to arrive? Haaretz reported: “At 7 A.M., the party organizers called Lt. Col. Elad Zandani, the man tasked with approving the festival and told him that terrorists were shooting the partygoers. He suggested that they fend for themselves. The first IDF forces arrived at the party scene at 3 P.M., that’s an 8 hour response time for one of the most efficient, capable and well militarized security forces in the world operating in a country the size of New Jersey with their Gaza division only a few miles away. And what makes this even more strange? Around 4 hours into the Hamas assault, at 10:46AM, Israel was already launching operations and bombing targets inside of Gaza. So, if Israel could begin an offensive attack into Gaza within 4 hours, why did it take more than 6 hours and in most cases more than 10 hours and even 20 hours in some cases to mobilize inside of their own country to stop the ongoing attack and to defend the lives of their own people? The New York Times quoted Ben Zion, an Israeli military reservist who spoke to Israeli media. He said his unit voluntarily left central Israel in a convoy at 1:30PM, they got together and left for the south on their own. He expected to see the roads packed with soldiers and equipment and armored vehicles heading south. “The roads were empty!” he recalled in an interview. Roughly seven hours into the fighting, he turned to the reservist next to him and asked: “Where’s the IDF?” The brutal and deadly Hamas terrorist attack of October 7th is so central to justifying Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza that Israel is actually outlawing questioning the October 7th government narrative. Israelis who spread information counter to the October 7th government narrative, which the Israeli Knesset calls “falsehoods and propaganda” could face up to 5 years in prison. Between the abundance of concrete evidence that suggests Israeli military allowed October 7th to happen by ignoring dozens of reliable and specific warnings, threatening soldiers with legal actions who tried to warn their military superiors and taking troops away from the area of the Gaza border that was attacked and now evidence that suggests there was some type of military stand down order in place on October 7th, it is important to ask, what was October 7th and what kind of war is the United States supporting? WHAT IS THE HANNIBAL DIRECTIVE? Images and videos of burnt cars, blacked and charred bodies and incinerated homes in southern Israel were plastered on every phone screen and television after the October 7th Hamas attack. The images and videos were used by the Israeli government to justify the military’s heavy handed tactics in their ongoing war against Hamas, But were all the images and videos actually the result of the Hamas attack? Innocent Israeli civilians were brutally killed by Hamas on October 7th, but there is evidence that proves the IDF killed their own Israeli citizens in what is known as the Hannibal Directive. To understand what the Israeli military did to their own civilians on October 7th, you have to understand the political aspirations of Hamas and what the goal of taking hostages is, it is political leverage. There are over 10,000 Palestinians in Israeli jails. 3,000 of whom haven’t been to trial or charged with a crime. When militant groups manage to capture Israeli civilians or soldiers it gives them leverage to force a prisoner swap and get some of their people out of Israeli prison. For example, in 1986, Hamas managed to kidnap 3 Israeli soldiers and bring them to Gaza. They demanded 1,150 Palestinian prisoners in return for these soldiers. After this, the military drafted a secret field order to prevent future kidnappings. It was called the "Hannibal Directive." The directive gets its name from the Carthaginian general who chose to poison himself rather than allow himself to be captured alive by the romans. In 2003, strangely enough on October 7th 2003, three Israeli soldiers were taken hostage and brought into Lebanon. Following the activation of the Hannibal Directive, IDF attack helicopters fired indiscriminately on 26 vehicles thus ensuring the death of their own soldiers and therefore robbing Lebanese militants of the ability to demand Israel make concessions. The Last known application of the Hannibal Directive was in 2014. In Rafah. Hamas fighters managed to capture an Israeli soldier, Lt. Hadar Goldin. Instead of allowing the lieutenant to be used as leverage by Hamas, the military killed him. Dropping bombs, missiles and shells on the area he was being held, killing the soldier and also over 100 Palestinian civilians. The scale of the Hannibal Directive on October 7th was entirely different from those of the past. A retired Israeli air force general, Nof Erez, described it during a podcast with Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper saying “The Hannibal Directive was apparently applied at a certain stage, because at the moment they understand there is a kidnapping, they immediately say, ‘Guys, this is Hannibal.’ But the Hannibal we trained for all of the last twenty years, is for a vehicle we know at what point of the fence it enters, on what side it drives, and maybe even on which road it drives. This was a Mass Hannibal.” We know the Hannibal Directive means to kill your own, so what does “mass Hannibal” mean? A large mainstream Israeli media outlet reported: “In the week after Black Shabbat, October 7th, soldiers of elite units, at the initiative of the Southern Command, checked about 70 vehicles that remained in the area between the Otaf settlements and the Gaza Strip. These are vehicles that did not reach Gaza, because on the way they were shot by a combat helicopter, an anti-tank missile or a tank, and at least in some cases everyone in the vehicle was killed.” 70 vehicles and in some cases, everyone in the vehicle was killed. These are Israelis killed by Israel. Again, only reported on in the Israeli media. Tuval Escapa, is a member of the security team for Kibbutz Be’eri. He set up a hotline so kibbutz residents could communicate with the Israeli army. He told Haaretz that “the commanders in the field made difficult decisions, including shelling houses on their occupants” in order to eliminate would-be hostages as well the terrorists. They shelled entire houses. Do we hear this in the American mainstream media? That the Israeli military targeted and destroyed over 70 cars with hellfire missiles that were filled with Israelis and that they decimated entire Israeli homes with tank shells? A report in Haaretz on October 20th notes that the Israeli military also carried out an airstrike on their own military base, the Erez crossing. That base was filled with Israeli Civil Administration officers and soldiers at the time. An Israeli woman named Yasmin Porat gave an interview with Israel Radio that the military “undoubtedly” killed numerous Israeli hostages during gun battles with Hamas militants. IDF General Barak Hiram, prevented hundreds of troops from entering Kibbutz Be’eri for hours on October 7th, when he finally allowed the IDF to go in, he ordered tanks to fire on multiple homes. The tank shells killed at least 12 Israeli hostages and 3 children. Recently the UN published an investigation confirming several of these facts, namely, that the IDF had in fact activated the Hannibal Directive on October 7th stating “The Commission is aware of allegations that Israeli Special Forces used the “Hannibal Directive” to prevent the capture of Israeli civilians and their transfer to Gaza, even at the cost of killing them" The Commission documented one statement by an ISF tank crew, confirming that the crew had applied the Hannibal Directive. The Israeli military, Israeli civilians and the United Nations all admit to the IDF purposely killing their own on October 7th. How many? It’s hard to know the exact number, but the imagery of charred bodies and incinerated cars and homes are still being used to this day to manufacture consent and support for Israel’s ongoing assault of the Gaza Strip, where more than 47,000 Palestinians have been killed including 15,000 innocent children. ISRAEL'S FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR HAMAS: Israel and Netanyahu helped funnel over $1 Billion dollars to Hamas in order to keep Palestine from being recognized as a State. It was Netanyahu and Israel who helped create Hamas thinking that they could control them and would be able to use Hamas as an excuse for their continued military operations and occupation in Gaza. ISRAEL'S SECRET NUCLEAR WEAPONS: The front lines of the war between Israel and Hamas are expanding and moving beyond Gaza. Yemen’s Houthis intensified their involvement, going from simply attacking Israeli bound cargo ships to now navigating an armed drone over 1,200 miles, evading Israel’s Iron Dome defense system and managed to strike inside Tel Aviv causing a massive explosions. In addition to their ongoing war in Gaza, Israel has attacked or been attacked by Iraq, Lebanon, Syria and Iran. Meanwhile, the U.S. continues to promise Israel unconditional and limitless support. But has anyone even asked if this support is LEGAL? According to the 1976 Symington and Glenn Amendments of the Armed Foreign Assistance Act, which is now a part of the Arms Export Control Act, the United States cannot give foreign aid, whether that’s economic or military, to any nuclear armed state that is not a signatory to the Non-Proliferation Treaty, or the NPT, but the United States gives billions of dollars every year to Israel and according to all international arms organizations, Israel has anywhere from 90 to 400 nuclear warheads and Israel has not signed the NPT. So how does this legally happen? The United States and Israel simply pretend Israel does not have nuclear weapons, literally, that’s what’s done. It is called “Nuclear Ambiguity.” This nuclear ambiguity, which allows Israel to continue to receive billions from the U.S. and also operate and maintain their nuclear arsenal with absolutely no international oversight and zero regulation, is maintained and preserved through the threat of force. Due to a previously Top Secret gag order, all U.S. government agency employees and contractors are forbidden from discussing Israel’s nuclear weapons program. Even insinuating or mentioning information that’s already in the public domain is forbidden for all federal employees and contractors. It sounds hard to believe but let’s give an example: James Doyle used to work at Los Alamos National Laboratory as a nuclear security specialist. He violated this gag order. Doyle wrote an academic article arguing that Nuclear weapons do not do a good job at deterring countries from attacking one another, he wrote: “Nuclear weapons did not deter Egypt and Syria from attacking Israel in 1973, Argentina from attacking British territory in 1982 or Iraq from attacking Israel during the 1991 Gulf War.” A clear reference to Israel’s nuclear weapons. Doyle’s security clearance was promptly withdrawn, his home was raided, his computers were seized and he was fired from the Department of Energy. So apparently that’s how it works. In 2018, The New Yorker published a stunning report in which they discuss another way Israel’s nuclear ambiguity is enforced: secret presidential letters. According to former U.S. officials and former Israeli officials, every recent US administration since Clinton in 1993 has performed the same ritual as it came into office. They all agreed to undermine U.S. law by signing secret letters, brought to them by hand by their Israeli counterparts stipulating that they’ll never acknowledge what everyone knows: that Israel indeed has nuclear weapons. The National Archives is currently refusing to release the letters, arguing that even confirming their existence would violate the secrecy pact. So there’s a gag order that stops all federal employees and contractors from simply acknowledging Israel’s nuclear weapons and U.S. presidents sign secret letters promising not to acknowledge or pressure Israel to do anything relating to their proliferation status. That means asking questions like these are entirely off limits enforced by the threat of government violence or law fare. But all of this information leads to a series of questions: Where does Israel dispose of the toxic waste its program generates? Are Israel’s nuclear weapons ever used to coerce the U.S. into making adverse policy decisions? How about our allies? Besides apartheid South Africa, has Israel offered any of its nuclear weapons for sale to other foreign countries? To U.S. adversaries? Has Israel mounted nuclear weapons onto its German supplied Dolphin class submarines? Or their American supplied F-35 jets? No questions are allowed and what is the cost, the dollar amount, for Americans, of this “nuclear ambiguity” policy? To be exact, almost $240 billion dollars of military and economic aid has gone from the U.S. taxpayer since the passing of the Symington and Glenn Amendments. That’s far more than the United States spent rebuilding Europe under the Marshall Plan. And none of that quarter of a trillion dollars should have been allowed under U.S. law. That’s the price of keeping Israel’s secret. A quarter trillion and yet where is the International Atomic Energy Agency and international nuclear inspectors? The same ones who monitor every other nuclear armed country in the world? DOES ISRAEL PERSECUTE CHRISTIANS? Before the war, Israel’s Christian minority were already being targeted with dispossession and violence. In Jerusalem’s Old City, narrow streets line the ancient neighborhood and Jewish Israeli civilians spitting on and attacking Christian clergy members is commonplace in Israel. Evidence of this shows a video from a few days before October 7th of Christians in the Old City of Jerusalem carrying a cross while a group of Orthodox Jewish Israelis many of them children walk by and spit at the Christians. It’s become mainstream to believe Christians don’t belong in Israel and only Jewish people do. A few years ago, the mission, the Virgin Mary’s place of death, was attacked and vandalized by Israelis. The graffiti on the ancient walls read “Death to heretical Christians, the enemies of Israel,” and “May his name and memory be obliterated,” in reference to Jesus. According to Haaretz, at a Jewish school, the leader of an anti-assimilation group Bentzi Gopstien told students that it’s quote “mitzvah” or a “good deed” to burn and destroy Christian churches. Should Americans, especially Christian Americans be allowing billions of their tax dollars to be used to ethnically cleanse, attack and bomb Holy sites and Christian civilians? What has happened since Israel has launched its war against Hamas? Israel has displaced 2.4 million Palestinians in Gaza, 80% of the buildings and homes have been reduced to rubble, at least 45,000 Palestinians have been killed with 50% being women and children. In America, we’re told we should prioritize sending billions of U.S. taxpayer dollars to Israel over dealing with our own issues here at home because Israel needs to be able defend itself. Well, it seems like what initially appeared as a defensive war, is appearing more like an offensive war with the expansionist goal of the permanent military occupation of the Gaza Strip. Did the Israeli military, the Israeli intelligence community, and the political leadership of Israel allow this terrible attack to happen to justify wiping out the population of Gaza, a genocide justified by an attack that Israel could have stopped had they wanted to.
