An example of trading the Mini / Micro Spread. I sold 1 ES out of the opening range today, and that gave me 10 MES to trade out of. I bought 2 MES at the payline to pay for my trade and remove my risk. I bought 3 MES to take profit at the 1st target (6872-74), then I tried adding a few times at 6872. The market failed to break further so I peeled a few MES off to take additional profit. The RTY was rallying and the churning action at 72, lead me to believe that was all we were gonna get.

I had started maybe 15 to 20 games in a row at that point for us. We were on the way back to the hotel. We were staying the night on the team bus and Rob Pelinka and JJ both kind of like called me at the same time and this was around the deadline and so Rob didn’t really call me that often like every now and then but as soon as my phone started ringing I saw it I kind of like had a idea but I didn’t want to assume and then you know he basically told me what was going on and uh zero sleep that night for sure. 🧩When to add to winners? 💡Averaging up in a trade (adding to your winner) is increasing reward value without increasing any risk 💵I like to call it on stream as "using house money" When I catch a nice entry, I keep in mind market conditions, my confidence in the draw on liquidity, time levels, and upcoming PDarrays 🎯I do take partials at major time levels or areas I think price could turn to pay myself and then from there, the remaining contracts are now allowing me to trade with "house money" 💥Once I feel more confident on draw on liquidity, I then wait for pullbacks into 5min PDarray or key time levels 🥊These are the times I look to add (average up) into my winners Anytime I add to my winner, I keep my stop to BE. Adding to a winner will bring your BE closer, but if you are able to strategically time it, many times you can squeeze out more profits after your targets were hit Yes you will hit BE often, but keep in mind this is after my initial targets were hit and I have paid myself. In theory my trade completed, but I leave on enough to then "re-build" a whole new position again This trade from yesterday on stream shows examples of this. Not always easy to do, but when it works it pays off. Again, the key here is no additional risk for more profits

An example of exiting the Mini / Micro spread for increased profit opportunities. I was long ES from the Opening Range and sold MES in stages at the Payline, and 1st and 2nd targets. I was long 1 ES and short 7 MES. When ES came back into the opening range I got stopped out of that leg. At the same time MES got offered back into the OR, so I placed a buy stop at the OR high to lock in that profit, while giving myself the upside potential for the market to break below its OR and extend lower. I was able to take some profit on the MES at the 1st downside target ahead of 6714 at 6717. The market came back into the OR after failing to break so I covered the remaining MES at the ORH.

Let’s do a deep dive video recap on the $ZM flow that hit the unusual_whales 🐳 flow feed on 7/15 and recap it. We had a whale open 5,365 contracts at an average of $0.46 for $247,507 in premium. When we look at the raw flow feed, we see everything coming in at the ask, but what sticks out is the floor trade that comes in at the end, which came in above the ask and had a big spike in implied volatility. We also had three spikes in net call premium on 7/11, 7/14, and 7/15. These contracts made a move from $0.46 to a high of $0.67 within an hour for a 45.65% gain. We can see a majority of the volume carried over into 7/16, so we know this whale held a majority of their position. At open today, we can see a large red bid-side candle come in with 5,282 contracts traded at $0.60 for $315,097. This looks like a clean exit by the whale, closing out their contracts at a 30.43% win. This whale made roughly $75,000 on this trade. This is very textbook flow, with the spot price increasing, IV increasing, and net call premiums showing spikes.

During this last bullrun I sold 15% of my $BTC allocation at $118K, then another 15% at $100K, and I recently bought that 30% back at $67K In hindsight I think I should’ve sold more, but the reality is that when you sell, you never actually know if it’s the top That’s simply unrealistic You don’t sell an investment when you think the top is in You sell it when an asset becomes assymetric to the downside When it could probably still go up a bit, but realistically could go down a lot more That’s the closest you’ll ever get to timing a top:
