I survived because of the fire inside me burns brighter than the fire around me - a badass somewhere

I used to care for fully grown adults with downs syndrome, among other disabilities. They were some of the happiest people you'd meet and it was really contagious. Lots of these people were in their 60s and 70s. To think someone would have considered aborting them is depressing.

These Doctors lie so fkg bad ( excuse the french), but they tried telling my mother my lil brother would have many horrid things go wrong with him one she was I think in her 40's some where they tried to get her to abort him! Thankfully she didn't he did turn out fine with an IQ that was a hundred something.... Your little one is prcious especially that scene of her in the pokeadoted dress so bright and happy. Bless you all.

Having a child with down syndrome & not giving a fuck and loving their entire existence is the way.
