Greg Brooks Jr. was a LSU team Captain, & play making safety. He had dreams of hearing his name called at the NFL draft, but that dream was shattered. His story is as heartbreaking as it is inspiring, & it needed to be heard. Today, GB & my childhood friend; his father Greg Brooks Sr. sit down to tell it. In September of 2023 Greg had surgery to remove a brain tumor, & his life was forever change. He lost control of his body, he couldn’t speak, & was a physical shell of himself. Today, I sit with my childhood friend along with his son to tell a story of adversity, perseverance, & Faith. Welcome back to “Pivotal Conversations with RC”. When Atlanta Falcons’ head coach Raheem Morris & his wife Nikki Morris saw greg brooks on Pivot Podcast, they reached out to have him be a part of the team. It’s an experience he will never forget.
