It was always a ridiculous ruling. We didn't fight WW2 to end up passing draconian limits on freedom of expression at the behest of a small state in the middle east via its proxies such as CAA, BICOM, JLM etc. We have plenty of non terrorist laws to deal with criminal damage.

The terrorism act should be outside of the courts. It's not pretty and less than ideal but you can't play politics with people's safety.
