Parents would pack us into a mini van at the most northern tip of Ohio and drag us 20+ hours down to Florida without even blinking an eye. It’s just what you do.

💪 Merica, we're taking it back. 💯 You like Trump, you know it, time to show it. ✅ T's for Trump here:

Texas, an hour just to go grocery shopping. I did it two days ago.

I live more than an hour from my office!🤣

Damn, no wonder why their country got invaded so damn easily!!!

Texas Courier here: I average 300-400 miles in a day M-F, every now and then I’ll get a drive job where they range 300-2,000 miles one way. I may or may not have done as much as 1,300 miles in day by myself driving across the country many years back before any legal statute of limitations would apply if I was driving over any hours of operation. To put it simply I’ve driven more miles in the last half of my career than most people will in a lifetime.

A lot of the city dwellers don’t own cars so a 1 Hour drive must seem like eternity

As they say, Europeans think 100 miles is a long drive, Americans think 100 years is a long time.

I did eight hours to pick up a truck from colorado and drove that in 1 day no problem. :)

True

Driving that amount of time in the UK and the US is not the same experience The US interstates are fucking huge straight paths. You can travel 8 hours and not use a turn signal The UK by comparison is like someone threw a plate of spaghetti at the map Driving here is stressful
