I was so proud of that night. Still am. He changed America for the better. My dad's last request was to turn Rush on. He died from a rare blood cancer.

I am so happy that this was done while he was still living. He was my constant companion while I worked driving on sales calls, or just needing some reality check.

I remember listening to this description during that broadcast…. Rush had such an incredible gift of making you feel like you were right there in the experience with him. It is bizarre how much I and so many others still miss him almost daily…. there was something about him that always made you feel like things will be ok. Not just in the world, but in whatever was going on in your personal life. We were so blessed to ‘know’ him 🙏 🕊️ 🇺🇸🦅 🏅
