Trump on deportations: We are going to work with farmers. If they have strong recommendations for their farms for certain people we’re going to let them stay in for a while… we have to take care of our farmers and our hotels and various places where they need the people

Today, I had the privilege of supporting 25 women with the sum of 500 thousand Naira each, to enable them boost their businesses, as part of my commitment to empowering women and strengthening livelihoods within our community. I believe that when we give people the opportunity and resources to grow their businesses, we are not only supporting individuals—we are strengthening families and building a more productive and self reliant community. My commitment remains to creating opportunities, supporting entrepreneurship, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our people. Together, we can build a stronger and more prosperous community.

"We are all in this together. We are one community wanting to make our community safe." National Night Out 2026 was a success! We’re grateful for the families, neighbors and partners who came out to have fun and connect with us, despite the weather. It was a great night of games, food, music and meaningful conversation, where community members got to know the people behind the badge and discuss ways to work together to better our community. Nights like these help us build a safer, stronger city - together!

On Overdose Awareness Day, we remember Tiarra, Jonathan, Alec, and millions of others who lost their life from an overdose. I am grateful for their parents who, through advocacy born of tragedy, continue to fight the stigma surrounding substance use disorder. President Biden and I continue our fight to end the overdose epidemic and ensure people receive the care and resources they need to support their treatment and recovery.
