I think the average “in play” for the SPFL is about 50 minutes. The time wasting was almost Mourinho-esque.

We pumped them in the 2nd half, they were clinging on by their fingernails, a punt up the park (the rangers way) and shoddy defending cost us the loss.

No surprise to me. The gamesmanship Rangers used in the game was at another level. It’s a major issue in football nowadays, as time in play has been falling for years. I’m in favour of the proposal for 2 x30 minute half’s and clock being stopped every time play goes dead.

Astonishing that there wasn’t any bookings for time wasting. Jack Butland took over 30 seconds to take a by kick when the ball was placed immediately for him to take it - how that is not a booking is incredulous.

Rangers have a game plan that works against Brendan's predictable tactics, but Brendan has no game plan to counter. He's learned nothing from the past 3 games against them and he's too pigheaded to play any other way.
