Thank you, it’s more precise and explanation for what I wanted to visualize. But I’m wondering the temperature is technically not a “difference” of hot/cold water — or rather, it may be a ratio of the two. I know they purposely simplified so to explain within the frame of basis transformation, yet I’m just curious if there’s much more generalized term for representing a non-linear transformation, such as (hot, water) -> (pressure, temp) and (R, G, B) -> (H, S, V).
