In an interview with La Ventana, ROSALÍA responds to whether death frightens her in any way: Interviewer: Rosalía, does death scare you? ROSALÍA: Not so much. What scares me more is life. I think it’s something I try every day to be less afraid of it. Interviewer: What about life scares you? ROSALÍA: Overexposure. Maybe the fact that daily life can consume you, that commitments might keep you from living the kind of life you’d like to have. Interviewer: But doesn’t fear also serve to alert us to danger? ROSALÍA: True, but sometimes I think that, without realizing it, you can end up living from a place of fear — approaching others with fear, being in life with fear — and I always try to look for the opposite. I think I live my life always seeking the opposite of that.

Michael Anderson on how 'Logan's Run' (1976) turned the tide for Sci-Fi movies in the 1970's: "Interviewer: When you made Logan’s Run, was there ever any talk of filming the other two Logan novels? Anderson: There had been talk. I’ve had talks over the years of other people doing them, but I’ve heard no more and as far as I know there are no plans that I know of to do sequels. They did do a short television afterwards. But I still think that the film remains to me a piece that I’m very proud of. Interviewer: It was part of an era of SF after '2001: A Space Odyssey' (1968) and before 'Star Wars' (1977).' Anderson: Before 'Star Wars', at a time actually when they said science fiction wasn’t going to go - it was box office poison - and then 'Logan’s Run' came out and sort of turned the tide, just prior to 'Star Wars' , which became a tidal wave." (Michael Anderson's interview with MJ Simpson, 2002)

Senator Graham on Iran last night: The reason I had was to cut the speech off a little bit... I don’t know why, but this might be the night. It’s just a matter of time now. Just a matter of time. This tyrannical regime needs to end. We need to end this for the good people of Iran and for our own selves, and for the people of Israel. He (Khamenei) needs to go.

Trump on Immigration: Maybe we can use a little bit of a softer touch but you still have to be tough… I've called the governor, the mayor, had great conversations with them. And then I see them ranting and raving out there as though a call wasn't made.

260823 BAEKHYUN WEVERSE LIVE 🐶: Guys, you had fun today, right? I thought this might turn out to be a bit of a awkward concept, but thankfully it wasn’t as bad as I thought. So next time, I’m thinking maybe I could just do a live comfortably from home. But I feel like it’s more fun when there are always new kinds of content like this, so I’m going to think of some content ideas and come back with them, okay? As for the drive, I think I need to think about that one a little more. Maybe I’ll do a driving broadcast the next time I’m going somewhere far, or otherwise we can just do something different.

Halo Legends is such a fun little collection of short films, and it always surprises me that a lot of people have never even heard of it, but they're all definitely worth watching All but one (maybe two) of them are canon as well :)

Here's the video of Tom Pelissero this morning on KFAN, with steam that the Vikings' QB competition is already nearing its end (plus some JJ trade speculation)... 👀👀👀 "I would anticipate, you know, as soon as this week... you may see the reps, it maybe evolve a little bit... I don't believe that Kevin needs to take this all the way through the third preseason game to determine his starting quarterback. You're going to probably have a pretty good idea by the end of spring what direction this is going to go."

As it happens, I actually think a keeper in his own area does deserve a little bit of extra protection because he is diving on the ground. But there are limits to the nonsense I can listen to. Hart needed that kind of protection, and Fletcher got a yellow. Butland is different.

GFT 🌘 Far away, in a mythical Transilvania, there lived a very well-known family of vampires. Known for all sorts of cruelty and their usual vampire's love for blood, they had a great concern of not having a child for years. In the end, after centuries, they finally had a long-awaited child, a baby girl. They could not imagine anybody being compared to her as for them the sun and the moon rose with her. However, as time passed, the vampires realised that their daughter only looked like them by her appearance and by her vampire's teeth. A daughter of vampires, known for their exceptional love for blood, had an entirely opposite, a human nature. She wasn't aggressive like vampires but hugged instead, and she kissed rather than biting. She poured kindness and wasn't wicked, and she loved instead of scaring. Yet, seeing her vampire's appearance, people failed to notice her warm nature and were still afraid of her. Centuries have since passed. That girl, that good vampire girl, is still trying to find her place among people. She is trying to demonstrate to them that she is not wicked at all, but on the contrary, she is the kindest and most innocent creature even among people.

Zeudi: In the end, yes, I fulfilled my dream of meeting Francesca Fagnani, and it was an immense pleasure. I’m really happy, very happy. She’s an amazing person, an incredible woman, and I also really liked the interview. Some people liked it, others didn’t, that’s fair. But overall, it didn’t go badly. Chat: You in front of Francesca like we are in front of you. Zeudi: Exactly, do you get it? I wasn’t anxious about the interview itself, I was anxious because I was in front of Francesca Fagnani, of course. In fact, when I told the production team, they asked, “Are you nervous?” I said, “The truth is, I’m nervous because I have to sit there in front of Francesca while she asks me questions,” and according to the format of Belve, the show. I said, “No, I’m more anxious about something else.” But come on, it didn’t go that badly. Chat: Francesca is very kind. Yes, she’s super kind. Zeudi: Anyway, yes, I was emotional, but mostly because of Francesca. I’m joking, I was emotional about everything, a bit.

yunjin held a little speech to introduce ‘need your company’ at the pureflow LA concert 🥹🤍 “in all relationships, whether it's platonic, romantic, or familial, there are times we struggle to understand one another. sometimes we even end up hurting each other without meaning to, but that doesn't signify the end of the relationship. i think it's an opportunity to go closer, because telling somebody that matters to you that they hurt you is actually an invitation to a more authentic version of you. and us as a team have had plenty of these experiences, but learning to embrace our differences has definitely made us stronger as a team and as friends. we're always looking for ways to get closer”

Tim Scott: "The fact of the matter is that all of the cylinders are kicking. It is good news. You can even feel in our environment how good things are getting. Gas prices continue to come down, which means your groceries will come down a little bit as well. We've got a lot of good signs in the economy."

The way you speak to your child is the way they will learn to speak to others. And to themself. It’s not by accident that this little one, shared to IG by alysenovo, is brimming with confidence in her ability to take on a challenge. Listen to her self talk: “I did it!” “Good job!” “Awesome.” This isn’t language she’s concocted on her own. It’s the kind of language modeled by her parents as part of a key life lesson: You are capable. That doesn’t mean unending - or empty - praise. But it does mean that when you demonstrate your own belief in your child’s abilities, they’re likely to internalize it. “You can do it” becomes “I can do it.” Choose your words with the knowledge that your voice will echo as your child’s own.

Q: What are some of the things you’ve seen with Hyeseong the last couple weeks that warrant him getting sort of reset down in Triple-A? DAVE ROBERTS: I think his swing has changed. I think he’s losing his legs a little bit, I think he’s coming around the ball a little bit. There’s a lot more swing-and-miss than there was early. I think he is just playing a little bit—with my eyes—more tentative, and not as free & easy as he was in some parts of last year and early on. So I think that just kind of getting him back to playing every day in a little bit less of a hot box, he’ll perform back to where he can and will. And so that’s kind of what we’re hoping for. 🎥: DodgersBeat | Dodgers News & Interviews
