And to think that all that plus the complete game fit on a single floppy disk.

Such a great game.

The PC "demo" for the game was literally just this intro plus some recorded gameplay, all played back in-engine. No interactivity at all, but I can't even remember how many times I'd loaded it up to watch. I didn't even have a soundcard, the first time.

The whole game including this intro took 1,2MB of disk space, so one 3.5" HD floppy was enough to store it.

This one just goes hard!

Another World, one of the games of my life

I had this on 3.5" floppy for 30 years and never got more than a minute in (pop the floppy in - then move on to something else). Watching the playthrough for the first time now:

I so wanted to play Flashback more than I did, but I was useless at it and didn't get very far.

I traded in Castle of Illusion tk get this and never looked back! Another World was like nothing I had experienced before, what a brilliant game from start to finish, but it was bloody hard. The SNES version is my favourite by far 🦊
