Mayor Bass: Just finished working with our city attorney to file a lawsuit—because we have to stop this mess. The idea of having troops go through the park and disrupt a children’s summer camp, or drive through the streets and just pick people off—people don’t know if a kidnapping is happening or what. So our city attorney is leading the way. We are filing a lawsuit and calling for an injunction to stop this. We need to remember who we are as a country. I’m very clear about who we are as a city, and I’m clear about my job—which is to make sure this city is safe for all Angelenos, regardless of when you came here, what country you came from, or why. We’ve got to stop it. We’re going to stand strong, because this city is united. We are not divided, and we’re not going to let anybody divide us.

"We might win a kinetic war in Iran, but we're going to lose the war at home if we are allowing them to use our own First Amendment tools in our society to destroy our Christian nation while they advance political Islam." "You cannot win a war if you do not acknowledge that it exists. A war is being waged against us... if we don't get aggressive in defending our society and our community, we will lose it!"
