@KhalidalQasri It's common in Arabic calligraphy to place the name of Allah in a higher position even if it is not the first word in the phrase. As for whether the orientalists are right about the letter, Allahu aalim. But it would only be shirk if someone intended that meaning.

@_am_a3_ Hard to tell, but if I had to guess I would say they look like they are more likely from coastal areas which would mean not.
