This is President Emmerson Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe saying that he has no desire to do more that 2 terns in office, that was in January 2018 talking to Richard Quest on CNN. It is a public secret that the Third Term movement is already in motion. What you need to know is that a Third Term at law is illegal for President Mnangagwa, it is unconstitutional! The constitution of Zimbabwe clearly states that to remove presidential term limits, you must have a referendum first. Even if that referendum happens and voters agree to the removal of term limits, the current President can’t benefit from such a move, it will be illegal. Only his successor can benefit. Sadly there is an illegal and unconstitutional precedent that was set, Chief Justice Luke Malaba is currently in his position illegally and unconstitutionally, they broke the constitution by giving him another term. The constitution was clear that the current Chief Justice couldn’t benefit from a change of the law, it would only benefit his successor. So be prepared for another constitutional violation, President Mnangagwa’s supporters have already pushing for a Third Term, and knowing Zimbabweans and Zimbabwe, he will get it the same way Malaba got back illegally and unconditionally!

We condemn the heinous attack on Governor James Orengo in Migori during an engagement with the people today. What started with senseless interruption of a peaceful meeting by police officers culminated in a brazen attack by thugs who torched one of the cars in the entourage and sprayed it with bullets. This level of violence is not only unacceptable, it is a precursor to a state of insecurity that the government will be unable to contain if it is left unchecked. Democratic freedoms and the expression thereof cannot be used as an excuse to weaponize organised crime against people of different political persuasion. This intolerance, especially when it is sanctioned, supported and defended by political leaders, signals a worrying trend that our security agencies seem both unprepared for and disinterested in resolving. Failure to act now in response to this national security crisis is an abdication of constitutional duty which is untenable. We demand that those charged with the security and safety of our country do their work before it is too late.

I am glad that people are seeing the illegality of this court proceedings for what it is. The continuation of this trial is illegal, this has been established even by the Nigerian court of appeal that earlier dismissed this case. Nnamdi Kanu's home was raided by the Nigerian military, 28 innocent unarmed civilians were murdered. Luckily to Nnamdi Kanu, he escaped and the same Nigeria followed him to Kenya where he ran to, conspired with Kenyan maffians and abducted Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Locked him up in a private secret room, tortured him to the point of death for 8 days and brought him to Nigeria without extraditing court orders as required by International law. This act according to local and international law has rendered the continuation of this case illegal . The Kenyan government through their former Nigerian envoy has disassociated the Kenyan government from this horrendous act . We must collectively identify this court proceedings for what it is. You cannot get justice from illegality. Violation of the international treaty is a crime . You cannot continue that case without stating how you brought Nnamdi Kanu back to Nigeria. Anything outside of this amounts to illegality. #FreeNnamdiKanu
