India is building one of these in the Maldives. So far the bridge platform has crashed thrice and destroyed a reef nearby. Bridges and Indian companies don't work well together in our ongoing experience. Seems like that's case elsewhere too.

Late last night, a part of an under-construction mall collapsed in Gandhinagar, with a few people trapped inside. Thankfully, no casualties have been reported. Also, the man seen standing on the fire-fighter truck with a loudspeaker, coordinating and giving instructions, is Gujarat Deputy CM Harsh Sanghavi bhai. He reached the spot immediately and actively joined the rescue operation.
