Club seems more interested in punting hospitality than dealing with why fans are so angry. Disappointing.

Transparent, good. This interview pre-launch would have went down so much better. Yes there’s still issues on a support and individual level, but the communication, whether you agree with the justification, is good.

No mention of asking fans to pay for safe standing only to give it away to old firm No mention of why there is tiered pricing in a stand with no tiers No mention of pricing out the next generation of fans Just old fashioned open and honest “we’re here for the money bitches”

Feels like a lot of the issues got ignored or glossed over and instead was an advertisement for merch and hospitality

As much as the new hospitality, pitch, frozen shirt prices, new hospitality, lift, etc all sounds great, I’m still struggling with the fact my 10-year-old son quite possibly won’t be able to sit with me when he can make it to games if I renew my season ticket.

Fair play to @STJCEO. Rational decisions behind everything IMO. Not saying it will all work and I agree with it but I trust that the board and Fran will get more right than wrong and not be scared of change. Right onto the signings and retained list please.

Also, there has always been a complete lack of understanding at the highest level that the east stand is the heart and soul of St Johnstone football club!

You will never get more fans in the old firm games until you drop them to one stand so fans can come and sit far away from them. It’s not the game that turns people away, it’s the fans.

This makes me want to renew even less.

I kinda agree open communication is good but this didn't really address the majority of the points raised by fans. Feel for Fran, looks like he's had a shite day.

Delighted about the pitch going hybrid though 👍🏻

For me the issue isn’t about resistance to change. The club has made some really positive decisions and improvements which I’m completely behind. If i want to bring my two sons I’m now faced with a choice to move or pay a 118% increase to keep the seat I’ve had for 14 years.

What guarantee do I have as a premium seating season ticket holder in the east stand, that ill ger premium seating whislt moved for celtic and rangers games?

Not a single answer to any of the questions being asked by the fans. Glossed over the main talking points.Would have been better to have not said anything. Would like to understand what make the premium seating in the east stand premium and how do you guarantee same level in main

Fran you are still not listening. If you think 700 in one day is an achievement given the situation it is not. Club could have had close to 2k if it was done right

Just an advertisement for the new hospitality really, no word about what will happen to the safe standing section that the fans raised over £7k for.

Glad to have communication. Would have helped a lot if you released an interview like this before the season tickets were launched though

500k is a lot to be fair, we could buy another William Sandford or Bobby Dailly

Alot has been covered in this in regards to the hospitality, new kits and the pitch which is all positive But the category pricing not covered . Under13s in East stand now charged because amount that didn't go last year 🤔

Quite a display of empty platitudes. Apologising without apparently understanding why you should be sorry. Disingenuous explanations. Failure to address arbitrary tiered pricing, rising costs for families in established seats, and numerous other concerns that have been raised.

Can you break the £500,000 profit figure down please.

What you should of done is run a positive season ticket campaign, would of been easy with the momentum the club had. Instead youve killed the momentum with the most negative campaign possible. You can still save this. Start the campaign, "Keep OF out" Sack Jim McCarthy

@C_ENicolson @STJCEO Last year club claimed more than 3k STs were sold? Why are you now claiming only 2.6k? Space to accommodate ALL ST holders in GB? Aspirations to grow fan base therefore minimal given constraints. Simply milking existing fan base for every penny possible!

failed on every level to address most of the main issues raised in the last 24 hours by fans sadly. Say goodbye to 500+ disgruntled ST holders. I was hoping the club would play a blinder today but sadly anything but Fran.

Once you betray the trust of fans, once you treat supporters with dismissive contempt, there's no way back, it's a point of no return, despite the efforts of this crisis PR. It's an extraordinary miscalculation that I'm afraid may now define Adam Webb's ownership of the club.

Who will not be moving from his seat. Really hope the St J fans get some answers. Football fans should all stick together

When making your calculations, how many lost season ticket holders were deemed acceptable, how many family/friend groups will be broken apart in the East Stand/Geoff Brown Stand because of the higher pricing? Regressive decisions that have been dressed up as progress.

I’m sorry Fran but this has been a catastrophic couple of days for yourself and the owners as the positivity around the club has been wasted just like the double was in 2021. Also seems a bit rich to think 40 or 50 fans is “many” given there has been 4K regularly this season.

Blink 3 times Fran if Adam is holding up your speech

Well said Fran

Bit too wishy washy. Wont effect me as much as others but not one of the main concerns answered. If we are that transparent, give fans option to email our concerns and do proper FAQ. Some of these maybe worse case scenario or OTT but my thoughts for @STJCEO (poor grammar aside)

Ticket prices may now be closer to what's charged elsewhere in the league, but no other Premiership club (that I can see) chooses to shift their supporters to another stand for 3/4 games a year. Paying a "premium" cost for a seat that we won't get to use for the whole season.

Even folk wanting to renew their season tickets are being asked for 116 quid payments to pay st tickets up
