An update from our Sporting Director Simon Wilson 🦉

An update from a sporting director wow. What it feels like to be a properly run club

wtf is an “update”

Who’s this well run club and what have they done with Wednesday?

It’s like watching Sheffield Wednesday from a different timeline, where everything is professional again.

A body of true authority (Higher ups) being around the training ground must be a brilliant thing for the players but a million miles away from what they have had in the past.

Who are you and what have you done with my Sheffield Wednesday?

Just love how Simon talks, clear, concise, and with a structured plan, a great addition to the club for sure

What that bellend Chansiri never understood was that when we asked for updates and communication, we never wanted it from him.

"We're prepared, it might be Messi.. Everyone is cool with that". 1:25.. I mean I know we're massive but damn, that would be a heck of a signing.

Get the kit out

Why are there a bunch of Minions behind him?!

@Dunsbyowl He could be the best signing we have made in years.. nice to have some competency at the club.

Plenty of time to embed new signings in at St George’s park next week you say? Flurry of signings to end the week then? 👀

i love you x

@AlexJPMiller Day & Night Update WOW 👌👏👏👏💙

I love having a Sporting Director as open & honest as Simon & with his knowledge, contacts and experience! It's so refreshing after a decade of a regime that did the exact polar opposite as Bruce, Wilson, @michaelestorch @storchyowl & Tom Costin are doing. We're now professional!

Thought he said we were signing Messi then 😆

This is strange.

What is this competency I'm seeing. I'm not used to this.

It might be messi👀 from Miami to Sheffield

It just show's that it's not hard is it..........something that to us is so appreciated and what's been missing over the years. To finally have our club back with some proper custodians means SO MUCH, our league status isn't really important as we nall know we're on our way back.

He speaks so well and clearly outlines everything and reaffirms its the fans club! dont even recognise this behaviour its fantastic 👌

You heard it here first. When asked about transfers he said ‘it might be Messi this year’

I'm not sure I'm prepared for this level of professionalism 🤣

Wow 👌 Honesty and transparency 💪 Absolutely class 👏 🦉

@AlexJPMiller Cheers for the update Si

Please stop being so bloody reasonable🙄 We're All Northerners Aren't We! 😁🦉

The celling couldn't be any higher for our club right about now love to see it 🦉🦉🦉its whats the fanbase deserves 💙💙

We've got our club back ain't we wawaw

Comes across well and really good communication it seems to the fans

@g14d23c Mentions messi at 1.25 in. I know we’re massive but that would be a ridiculous signing

Like a breath of fresh air. Great to have honest updates 👍
