From what I saw, it was mostly feedback & shock at what you’ve paid for the dog & what you were charging A lot of constructive replies from people who have owned, bought & sold dogs? You’ve probably paid 5 times over the odds of what the dog is worth & therefore it looked bad on what you were having to charge to syndicate him out Vast majority think your intentions were good but for want of a better phrase, you’ve been ripped off on the price you’ve paid - I don’t think you’d get any offers at 8 grand for the dog if you put him up for sale mate & that’s just being honest, not critical

The fact that you’re willing to give in and not pursue another dog down the correct avenues says it all. You were good for the sport for a couple of months but a 20k valuation on a dog that was bought for 4k and has only won a D3 since just looks bad whichever way you spin it!

I don’t think setting up a syndicate for a 20k greyhound when you’re just getting into the game is a good idea at all. Me and 8 mates payed £100 for 50% in what turned out to be an A2/A3 greyhound. Expensive dog doesn’t mean good returns.
