It's borderline journalistic malpractice to use empty platitudes like "grit" "purity" to make your *personal* opinion sound factual. In all your anti-NBA tantrums, I've yet to see you define "analytics", instead it's this monolithic boogeyman you've no interest in understanding.

The game has lost it's variety is a perfect way to sum it up. This era isn't fun. It's too formulaic. Like Artificial Intelligence playing a game.

This is the first year I've watched NBA consistently, and I could've told you that the obsession with the 3-pointers is hurting the game. I've seen teams down by 7 shoot five 3-pointers in a row, missing all five, and immediately be down by 12-15.

Basic math sadly. 3 is 50% more than 2.

I agree with this, the 3’s spam & rim running is not entertaining to watch at all. Example, the Celtics vs Knicks game opening night was dreadful to watch. That was the epitome of ass basketball being played & it was 3’s being spammed non stop & rim running. That style of play has run its course.

Game while skilled is less about drawing up plays and diversity of scoring. Just drive and kick with players standing around. It’s ok for 1-2 teams but when everyone does it and honestly does it poorly, the optics on tv are bad. Plus more blowout=less interesting
