Agreed. He grew on me much later in life. After dismissing him for Gulzar, Sahir etc. it was only later in life I realized Bakshi saab's range and simplicity. An example - Chanchal Sheetal Nirmal Komal - which I would assume is a kavi like Indivar special but no its Bakshi saab

No doubt he is a legend and will be missed forever for his great contribution to the film industry.
