We were so free , no bike helmet, I had a pocket knife would never have dreamed of hurting anyone with it. My own key at 11 but the door wasn't locked anyway . Bonfires the kids built ,it was our job ! And out all day wandering the beach and woods . We were good kids .

Absolutely!

Garbage Pail Kids were just the best sticker collection ever - smelly rubbers (erasers) aside 🤣

They were!😂😂😂

I actually fell out of my mom's car (between 5-6 years old) and bounced across a very busy intersection... No hospital trip. Just peanut butter cups and a 7-up on the way home and I was good 👍

You forgot we remembered all of family and friends phone numbers.. We had rotary phones to use before DTMF dialing. We had paper routes to earn money

It is weird that we lived pretty much the same thing here an Ocean and a half away… Yes we had some tough and great time but we grew into old farts inecitably :)))

Pretty sure us born in the 60s were even tougher 🤣

The majority couldn't survive a few hours without their phones.

I was born in 1967 and I loved the 70s except for bullies around my way but it all worked out. We all had our issues. They were all dealt with.
