You’re obsessed with buses, get a fucking grip lad, hundreds more foreign rapists are crossing the channel today and you post this shit

It's not been too long though, has it? The last Tory government did it... it was YOUR party who put it up to £3. Do you ever get bored of being a disingenuous bellend?

You are boasting about reducing fares to the level they were when Labour took power?

While you are waiting for the bus, have a read:

Look at him. The most powerful man in Britain, performing spoken word about public transport. "And if a double-decker bus..." You are quoting The Smiths now? You are making Morrissey references while the channel fills with dinghies? You are performing bus-themed spoken word poetry while 250,000 raped children wait for justice? You are Prime Minister of England. Not a fresher at Manchester University trying to impress someone at the student union. Not a regional mayor with a transport portfolio and a dream. The actual Prime Minister. And your contribution to the national conversation, on a day when hundreds of foreign criminals cross the channel, when the NHS collapses, when the energy bills bankrupt pensioners, is... a Smiths lyric about buses? Read the room, you absolute vacuum. The comments tell you everything. "Hundreds more foreign rapists are crossing the channel today and you post this shit." That is your legacy. That is your record. That is what you will be remembered for: the bus man. The man who covered up mass rape but kept the fares low. You are not Morrissey, Andy. You are not even the bus driver. You are the clown on the top deck, performing for an empty carriage, while the country burns below.

You're embarrassing yourself. The £2 cap was a Tory policy which @UKLabour upped to £3

Do you seriously think this will make a difference to people's lives? What a first initiative! Capping bus fares, saving £25 on energy bills and 86p on electricity bills won't make the slightest difference to 99% of the population. If you wanted to hit the ground running, you’d cut income tax, end the freeze on tax thresholds, and scrap stamp duty.

You need to reduce MPs who laugh at early prison release.

Another taxpayer-funded selfie stunt, Andy. You’re not ‘reducing’ fares - you’re subsidising them with our money while everything else skyrockets under Labour. Sort the open borders, grooming gangs, and two-tier policing instead of virtue-signalling on a bus. The Smiths reference is the most authentic thing here.

Emblematic of everything that is wrong with Britain right now.

Most buses are already reasonably affordable. The real problem is that there simply aren’t enough of them. In rural communities like Crewkerne, irregular services leave people cut off from work, healthcare, shops and one another. Cheaper fares mean little if the bus never comes.

All you’ve done Andy, is remove the increase that Labour implemented on the original price cap of £2. All this talk of price caps seems very communist to me Andy. And I suspect a lot of other people feel the same. And while I’ve got you… When are you going to address the video featuring @ShabanaMahmood and @wesstreeting? Their apologies have not been accepted by the British people and we’d like them held to account. Thanks so much 🫡🇬🇧 #MomentOfLevity #IsBritainCommunist

@pjpaton It’s Labour that increased them. It was Tory policy until Labour got in.

This is like watching a child pretend to be Prime Minister. What next? Returning “penny sweets” back to the price of a penny? This stuff doesn’t move the needle for most people.

Andy, you’re filming yourself in front of a bus celebrating a £2 fare cap while rents continue to devour people’s wages and the country carries record levels of debt. Bus fares are a marginal cost for most people. Housing, taxes, and energy are not. Instead of tackling the structural issues that actually determine whether ordinary people can afford to live — planning reform, housing supply, the overall tax burden — you’re offering small, photogenic subsidies. It looks like action. It isn’t. It’s the same managerial instinct: do something visible and cheap while avoiding the difficult reforms that would actually move the needle.

Hey, Andy Partridge, but the hundreds of thousands of illegals, and their families, get a free bus pass. Lots get a free car and driving lessons. How does that work then?

It’s not the buses we are worried about but the Mega Dinghy crossing the Channel right now, full of migrants.

What a terrible liar, but that's Liebour all over. Tory's actually did this Starmer, then increased to £3. Trying to pass this off a win for yourself Andy is actually laughable, shows just how shallow you are.

Why has Shabana Mahmood's post from 13th July in relation to the “credible threat” at the Ijtima Festival been scrubbed off X, Andy? And my posts quoting the post have also been disappeared. This is highly concerning for ordinary citizens when their posts are being deleted without their consent.

Yes you showed people in greater Manchester it’s possible to lower bus fares, well done, but you left their city in record debts, surely that cancels the credit out a little?
