The fabled Boothferry Roar of the late 1940s/early 1950s when #hcafc pulled their biggest crowds of 40 to 50,000 under the maestro Raich Carter. We had the Tiger Mag to satisfy demand & the Tiger Rag on the tannoy when City came onto the pitch...

...but we also had 'Boothferry Park' on the tannoy by the City Police Military Band. Recorded by J.H.Fisher, 26 Cottingham Rd, Hull. Musicmeister Keith Herd of Fairview stuios has cleaned up the crackly old recording to restore its pristine sound.....
