This is the kinda line that shouldn’t work and on paper probably looks hilarious but in context it’s played so straight and Ben kills it and it just works

I don't understand why people say this line was cringe. The games have namedropped the series title for decades, so what? Was badass as hell to see Clive deal the final blow this way, and putting a twist on the term was perfectly fine.

Those people are really the minority here. I think most people love it from what I’ve seen from the community since its release. It works in context and Ben Starr’s line delivery really sells it.
