And Now For Something Completely Different (1971) Monty Python created The Lumberjack Song in 15 minutes after they couldn't come up with a conclusion to the barbershop sketch. The music is similar to Mozart's Don Giovanni and Beatle George Harrison once produced it as a single.

It’s amazing to think how much Monty Python humour likely would have never seen the light of day without George Harrison’s support in financing some of Python’s projects.

Connie Booth

Ah, beautiful Connie 😍

I will not say that Monty Python has been a large part of my life, but I am named Tim, and I did build a enchanter helmet to wear at LE/Mil Trade shows MP taught me, there is NO reason, to take work, or life, serious

Many of my friends are Lumberjacks and only a few are transvestites. 😅

Back when people made real comedy and we all could laugh at real comedy.

There is also a german version of this song.

That look

The tune for "The Lumberjack Song" is loosely based on this duet from Mozart's *Don Giovanni*:

I performed this skit for my high school talent show. The Directors tried to make me replace “my best girl” with a blow up doll. I said no. I don’t think they got the bit.
