"And remember, respect is everything!" GTA 2 (1999)

the radio stations and DJ's were unhinged in the most wonderful of ways. with songs like this. stuff like that has always been the heart and soul of GTA to me. from gta 1,2,3 vice city, San Andreas I love a game that has crazed radio stations

Funami FM was something😭

They should make another GTA bird's-eye view for old time's sake.

That'd be fun😂

I remember I was playing gta 1 and saw this one, and I was like, “Wooow, what nice graphics vs gta 1” 😆

well, it was better than GTA 1's graphics so you were right !

I was so in love with the lighting of this game ❤️

Same lol, that game had a lot of charm

ah yes the days when this came out and everyone was calling it gta 1 with mods

Lmao

where it all started for me

Reminder that GTA started as a top down

ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING

memories😭

Wasn't a huge fan of the setting but the lighting and that intro movie were amazing

I still love playing the first 2 GTAs

I never tried gta1 tho

There used to be a port to iPhone and Android, but that was a LONG time ago.

GTA 2 on Dreamcast is amazing ! Funami FM 🫶🏼

Respect in the Grand Theft Auto 2: you must defend these gangs would be 'hostile' or 'respect' (could be Khrisna and Zaibatsu) while in SA: your mission is completed (respect is increased), defend this territory that dont let you lose.

If you beat this game, you can beat any GTA with your eyes closed. This is the hardest one of them all

“Daaaamn nation. No donation. No salvation!”. IYKYK

Do you have some kind of widescreen fix? I dont recall the game looking this sharp.

yep, I use a widescreen fix🙂

Is there some official download somewhere, or is it one of the "fish around and see what you find" cases? I remotely remember trying one years ago and the game breaking in some way. I don't recall the details...

Love it❤️

gta2 is freeware now

It had an online version that was wild

Unfortunately, I never got the chance to try it😭

STOP hahaha

"Hallelujah! Another soul saved!"

This is the best gta of the franchise

Mentally I’m still here… the radio stations are legend and I still quote them randomly to my buddy who I played with as a youngster.

I really recommend going back and playing it with the mouse aiming mod, its like a whole different game.

It's hard to drive here because the field of view is too small. Needs a remake with higher resolution so the driving will be easier.

One of my favourites The radio was 👌🏼

so many gems on gta2 radio

I loved this game

Me too, it was a lot of fun

😂🔥

When I was kid I had pirated CD with GTA II. After start there was russian accent which says in Polish "w tym mieście, szacunek to wszystko" 🥹

😂

Bongo Bongo, burn in love......UHM, AHA..
