Goddessa hasn’t done anything on this show to deserve the level of scrutiny and constant judgment she has been receiving. She is simply a girl who came on this show to entertain us, showcase her talent, be herself, and hopefully do things the right way. But somehow, almost every single thing she does or says is being dissected, judged, and sometimes even twisted into something it was never meant to be. We’ve forgotten that this is a game. A game where different personalities are meant to exist. Not everyone will be your favorite, and that’s completely okay. It’s okay not to connect with Goddessa. It’s okay not to be attracted to her personality. It’s even okay to feel that she doesn’t deserve your support. But does she really deserve this much hate for simply being herself? Sometimes, we need to remember that there’s a real person behind the screen, a young girl who is experiencing all of this in real time. She deserves the same grace, understanding, and opportunity to make mistakes that we have given to others. You don’t have to love Goddessa. You don’t even have to support her. But please, be fair to her. Give her the same chance you’ve given everyone else to be understood, to grow, to make mistakes, and to simply play the game. This clip is a perfect example of how normalized it has become to openly discriminate against White people. It’s not just a throwaway comment, it’s a celebration of hurting an entire group of people based solely on their race. And the fact that it’s met with applause shows how deeply this mindset has infiltrated our culture. Now imagine if someone said the same thing about Black people, or any other minority group. The outrage would be immediate and intense. There would be calls for censorship, bans, and apologies. The media would be all over it. But when it’s directed at White people, it’s treated like a joke, or worse, like a victory. That double standard is not just unfair, it’s dangerous. It teaches people that it’s acceptable to demean, dehumanize, and mock a group of people as long as they’re White. And if we don’t call it out, it becomes normal.
