I won’t say all of Pastor Arome’s stories are fables, but some seem overly exaggerated or made up, and a spiritually discerning person may pick up on that immediately. The fact that some pastors told certain stories in the past and people believed them does not mean people will accept them in the same way today. ( People do make up stories and tell them as true stories in a bid to win souls). The Bible says that knowledge shall increase in the last days, and I believe this includes the ability to question, investigate and discern the things we hear, including in the church. Acts 17:11 (KJV): The Bereans examined the Scriptures daily to verify what Paul and Silas taught. The body of Christ should take this as a sign to remove fables from the gospel they preach and focus on the finished work of Christ. If an influential MoG does not speak up against what Arome is doing, he may continue to dismiss corrections from people he considers less influential. Sadly, some pastors only take correction seriously when it comes from someone they see as being on their level or above them, forgetting that God can speak through anyone.
