I saw Paperman in cinemas and it literally changed the way I look at art. I wouldn't be where I am today if not for that animated short.

Something that AI still can’t do is poetic timing, suspense, and anticipation. Each frame of this animation is intentional to evoke a thought and emotion. Looking at this all I can say is wow. Just wow. I need to see the whole thing now.

Putting the term “love” into AI art generators doesn’t automatically mean it has soul. Soul in art is the story the artist wants to tell, it’s the effort they put into their work, it’s the theming behind it all. In some art there’s always new things to see every time you look.

from this sample, so called "AI art" --> too many transition/movement/animation. human made --> only focus to what matters, but impactfull.

The funny thing is that that animation also uses algorithms to calculate the outline and lighting, there is a great video of the Making of on YouTube

The same people that are pissed off by AI art, laugh at truck drivers for their potential job losses soon.

They're not comparable, but for different reasons. One is a quick render. The other is an entire dedicated team of professionals over a period of time. What would be healther/more productive, would be to envision how individuals could adapt AI into a broader creative pipeline.

This “art” was completely sculpted, animated, composited, and rendered in a computer. There was automation at play, coding, even AI. You don’t get to call this art then poo poo AI renders. Also, this is well done entertainment made for a lot of money.
