Anderson had heavy Ronaldinho comparisons in his early days for good reason. Both extremely skilful attacking midfielders , physically dominant with great vision for the game. Both excellent dead ball specialists. They also came through the same academy.

Yeah it's always others fault not players' if they're from Brazil 😂 Sir Alex asked him to get injured and be inconsistent. Is that what you mean by "misprofiled"?

Wasn’t misprofiled. Injuries took away his pace and he had to play deeper. Was still fantastic as a Volante

True about misprofiling but the most impactful mistake was him not keeping himself in shape and subsquent injuries. He played really well his first two seasons. He just declined massively by the coming years because of those things.

@LyesBouzidi10 This guys always blaming something else for brazilians failing, if he was that good he would’ve done better, players like that perform exceptionally in any position/environment.

Still think he was fantastic for us, especially first couple seasons. Played in all the big games in 07/08.

He overachieved. The man didn't know how to pass a ball just kicked it. Had good dribble and worked for the team at his best. He was a poor mans of Dembele

Anderson, Diego Ribas, Dinho, Robinho, Ney, Alex, Ganso etc… Imagine all those on the same pitch in the late 2000’s / early 2010’s . Opponents wouldn’t touch the ball.
