The only solution is to ban Gutkha entirely irrespective of the huge revenue loss to the government.

I've been saying the same thing: the Indian government should ban it completely as it's a dirty habit. It's now become a problem in the UK; the streets are filthy. I'm seeing it in central areas too, and it's so embarrassing. It should also be banned in the UK. All exports of the damn dirty stuff should be banned.

I have yelled 2-3 bhaiyyas on the road for spitting, I literraly told them ye saaf kon karega, when i told my mom about the incident she told me to mind my business, she reminded me, you know knife incident in the local train right..

These people are shameless and sadly you mum is also correct is worrying about your safety

We have CCTVs, why can’t we catch such ppl and penalise them heavily or else make them clean the mess. Gone are the days of bringing in awareness and all, nothing has changed. Now the time has come to take stricter actions.

@RailwaySeva I had highlighted an issue near the ticket window of Andheri station last year and it was promptly taken care of back then. However, looks like it was just spot treatment if this video is true. Please attend to the above.

The only way to fix this is to use the stick on offenders. Use videos of their actions and play them on large video screens across stations. Cane and shame is the only fix.

Andheri station filth shows gutkha ban isn't enough. Ban consuming pan & tambaku in ALL public places. Close pan taparis. Health, sanitation & spit-free public spaces must be top priority. Strict enforcement now! @mybmc @CMOMaharashtra

Camera, chalan and community service (involving cleaning station) can reduce this problem. Once or twice a month drive can give results.
