Yesterday, I have visited the Kumki Elephant Training Camp at Musalamadugu, Palamaneru and was delighted to see the excellent care and training being given to the elephants. With the help of these Kumkis, we have successfully carried out two operations, bringing great relief and happiness to the local communities. We are taking special care of the Kumkis — just as they were lovingly cared for in Karnataka. Our forest teams are continuously monitoring their health, conducting regular check-ups, and providing every necessary care and comfort. This collaboration between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka reflects our shared commitment to wildlife protection and compassionate coexistence.
