Andrea Mitchell has decided to shift from her daily anchoring duties on MSNBC to a broader role at NBC News. The legendary and trailblazing reporter remains Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent and Chief Washington Correspondent. Congrats, Andrea on 16 years at the anchor desk!

It's about time. Good riddance.

I get all of my daily TV news content from @MSNBC and I absolutely cannot watch Andrea Mitchell. This is great news as it’s the only hour I never watch it. Please don’t put Katy Tur in that slot.

Translation, she was demoted.

She should resign or be fired! She is too biased and a lousy correspondent.

As soon as the elections are over, MSNBC needs to be sued for every last penny they have. Maybe she knows it’s coming and had enough of pushing your lies and hateful rhetoric.

To say it was time for this to happen is an understatement. She seems more willing to condone than condemn RW craziness. I never felt like she was standing up for the views and concerns of all of us. Adios Andrea.
