Andrej Karpathy calls large language models the new computing paradigm: CPU -> LLM bytes -> tokens RAM -> context window this is the large language model OS (LMOS)

People have pushed for this LLM analogy, but I don't think it's apt. A CPU is deterministic, unlike an LLM. RAM uses rigid addressing, while context is fluid.

Here I share an XGBoost model that delivers a 25% CAGR with minimal drawdown on Visa stock. In this free Substack post I share code and commentary for a powerful Machine Learning strategy that delivers powerful returns.

and it's evolving rapidly...

Large language models can not be an operating system due to their probabilistic nature. It will mess up how the hardware would work. Neruo-symbolic AI on the other hand has a change. A way to turn human input recived by the LLM into discrete logic using symbolic AI.

Seems a bit exaggerated but i haven’t seen the whole talk

@nick_archuletas you know hes right because the concept is so simple

Before LLMs researchers were playing around with differentiable neural computers

Very inefficient os to say

where's this from?

Some poeple are feeling 2049

bro, can you send the link, where can i see the full video?
