My Wife's cousin was going to have Enola Gay as their first dance song or to walk down the Isle too. I ex[plained the meaning and subject matter and they changed their mind. Great song all the same. First band I saw live, support to Gary Numan.

Can you imagine what October 7th would've looked like if the Gaza Strip had an airport and Hamas had a fleet of planes? Most of you don't know that after the Oslo accords the Palestinians were allowed to build an airport in Dahaniya in the southern Gaza Strip. US President Bill Clinton landed there in 1998 to visit Arafat and the Palestinian Airline had already started operating flights. Of course, later this airport was destroyed in all the operations against Hamas. What were we thinking when we agreed to this? What were we thinking when we ignored all the danger signs, the promises to annihilate us, the violent rhetoric in Arabic by the same people who spoke in English about "peace"? The Israeli leadership that brought us the Oslo accords really thought that economic development and helping the palestinians build prosperity will bring peace. Today, many people still try to hold on to this delusional hope. Some think this way because it's hard for them to admit their past mistakes, and some because they simply don't know the history.

"I'd disown my son if he was gay" I watched Inside the Manosphere on Netflix. This dude speaks for all of us. There were some dweebs in the movie but overall it was about young men learning what manhood is all about and rejecting being a pansy. Worth watching.

JK is right on the money here about the gay rights movement. It has become all trans all the time. I watched it happen and then it cannibalized me and my lesbianism. After gay marriage in 2015, the orgs wanted to keep fundraising. I was there. We were all told this is what we are doing now and that was that. I didn’t think much of it at the time tbh because we were fed a lot of lies about transgender and loosening the “gate keeping.” Which led us to the disaster today that is self ID. Speaking out against this will cost you. Cowards need not apply.

And Cellbit was right in the call anyways, so- And he got us second place! It was a good VAR call. Unfortunately, sometimes that's just gonna- We were in enemy territory, okay? We were Worldwide going up against All-Stars, in America... It was not our home grounds, you know? So... Yeah. That was what was great about Cellbit- That was why he was our team captain, because he was our number one hypeman, he was fighting for us in every single event hyping us up, supporting us, fighting for our team. He wanted to win and he wasn't competitive in a bad way by any means! He was just passionate and so into it. We were very lucky to have him on our team. We were very, very lucky.

Wachowski: From a commercial standpoint? Interviewer: Yes. Wachowski: For whatever it was, it was about lesbians and we weren't going to change it. People asked us to change it. People at other studios would read the script and say, "If you change Corky to a man we're really interested." And we were like, well, that movie's been made a million times, so we're really not interested in it. And in terms of the movie overall, we think it works pretty well. (...) Interviewer: Was that the philosophy of the movie? You know, you mentioned all those great directors of the past. They all had a philosophy. What was your philosophy? Wachowski: We think that not only gay people or queer people live in closets. Everybody does. We all tend to put ourselves into these boxes, these traps. And so what we tried to do is we tried to define as many of the characters through the sort of trap that they were making out of their lives.
