There's a huge difference between responding to someone waiting to hear your response and interrupting someone in the middle of their conversation.

If Andy Murray claimed today to be a woman, you'd insist he be permitted to shower with his female opponent after insisting he be permitted to play against her in the women's category. I'm glad he's not a misogynist, but anyone who supports men taking women's sports & spaces is.
