this is infinitely more cool than having the flash run so fast he goes into a cgi portal or whatever the fuck happened in that movie

I love how the answer to his “no way out” problem was just to … stop moving, it’s such a clever scene😭

Those helicopter-pod things are still one of the coolest vehicles ever put in a movie

Speedsters are so much better when their “speed” isn’t so OP to the point where it’s incomprehensible to the naked eye. Also I forgot about the sheer amount of DEATH in this movie and I love it so much♥️

This and what they did in the Eternals is how speedsters should be done.

Honestly the main thing that grounds it is how realistic the sound effects and visuals are. There's no 'zoom', no lightning bolts or smearing or whatever to exaggerate just how FAAAST he's going. The lil guy just pitter patters along like an ant. It's great.
