Andy Stanley is a frequent reminder of what happens when you "unhitch" yourself from God's Word.

Nonsensical. Same God in the old and New Testament. He doesn’t play by our rules.

For there shall be a time, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears: 2Tim 4:3

That is so ridiculous. God was showing us how hard it is to live up to his righteousness. Humans failed. Over. And over. And over. That was the purpose of the Old Testament. Saying that God was playing by the rules of Satan is heresy. Because that's who was given the authority of the kingdoms of this world. Seriously, reading your Bible is not hard.

"...they did not know they were writing the New Testament." (Sigh) Yes, they did, Andy. 🙄 2 Peter 3:16b ...There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures.

This theological weakness flows from a weak theology of the Incarnation and the Resurrection.

Charles Stanley was a great man of God. I don't know what happened to this fellow.

Notice, how Andy is implicitly condemning God's behavior. I think that is very dangerous ground to be on.
