When you shoot a layup from your waist, and it’s blocked before it’s as high as your head and you catch the blocked ball at your waist, that’s not a rebound no matter how hard the league wants you to believe it. That happens 5-10 times a game. That’s not rebounding. That’s a 7th grade YMCA basketball day camp player in their first game. Not a professional.
