Manny & Makhanya: Brave Building Out Yesterday, I felt both CB's were really brave in building out from the back and most of the attacks were as a result of their play. Manny Fernandez with the ball is exceptional: > Delays to Provoke Pressure > Brave Breaking Lines under Pressure > Takes Responsibility at All Times > Created 2 of the Best Chances in the Game Also thought Makhanya grew into a decent performance. We can argue defensively on Manny, I think he can definitely develop and improve but I also believe he wants to & understand's why he delays play. As for the laziness recovery stuff, he covers ridiculous High-Sprint Distances for a CB per 90, especially for a Rangers defender. More players with his Game-Understanding and Midfielders to demand the ball off of him then Rangers will be in a much better place.

WHY Carlos Baleba Could Finally Fix Manchester United's Midfield... For years, Manchester United have struggled with the same problems. Too easy to play through. Too vulnerable in defensive transitions. Not enough athleticism to dominate midfield battles. Carlos Baleba could be the answer. The Brighton midfielder combines explosive ball-carrying with elite duel-winning ability, giving United the physical profile they've lacked for years. He's not the type of player who dictates every attack…but he doesn't need to. His biggest strength is chaos management. Going to practice n hour a day on Rapkids Half term breaks WPM targets Nnenna (8) - 30 (currently 14) Kaego (10) - 60 (currently 45) Obinna (12) - 50 (currently 30) Benchmarks Typical typing speeds by age (rough ranges) AgeAverage WPM 6–75–15 WPM 8–910–25 WPM 1020–35 WPM 11–1230–45 WPM So if an under-10 child is typing 60 WPM: •That is exceptionally fast •Well above middle-school average •Likely comparable to or faster than many adults •Potentially top 1–5% for that age group, depending on accuracy The key question: accuracy If it’s: •60 WPM at 95–98% accuracy → that’s genuinely elite for under 10. •60 WPM at 85–90% accuracy → still very impressive, but developing control matters. ⸻ This level of speed suggests: •Strong pattern recognition •Good motor coordination •Solid working memory •High repetition discipline That’s a great foundation for: •Coding •Writing •Competitive academics •Self-directed digital learning This will be alongside reading, swimming, math and other exciting STEM related activities.

Most people don’t understand Phil Foden. Phil Foden is a tempo dependent profile. He needs constant touches, quick 1-2s and early access to activate his game. So he keeps dropping into the first phase showing between lines asking for the ball off the 6/8s and even the CBs. The issue is not availability. It’s access. England simply do not have the level of passer required. Anderson, Rice, Mainoo and Henderson are nowhere near the level of consistently breaking lines with the right weight, timing and conviction. At City he is fed by Rodri and Bernardo. Players who trust the angle, play through pressure and sustain a IP 3-2-5 with control. With England, that connection is not there. So instead of receiving on the half turn in the right half space, he’s recycling or arriving late. The attack loses central progression and defaults to low value wide crosses. Put Foden in a possession structure with elite interior passers and you get a completely different player. This is not about form. It’s about ecosystem.
