Hmmm IMHO. Speers didn’t need to say anything. Taylor contradicted himself throughout the interview and in this answer spelled out in govt they would dramatically slash funding on the services Australians are demanding.

If only the average viewer was as savvy. Many will hear “yeah Labor spends like irresponsible drunken sailors and wastes money, whilst the LNP have to clean up the mess. They even said so on Insiders that lefty program”. I agree he contradicted himself, but needed fact checking

@PaulBongiorno People don’t consume media like they used to. Clips make it into echo chambers online. That’s how you see some sky news stuff.

This was the most disgraceful interview. Taylor rambled on lie after lie after lie. No checking, challenging or interrupting. We should see more from our ABC. Very disappointing. I thought I’d try insiders again today but switched it off. Never to return.

This is my problem with #Insiders. I’m not sure whether David Speers hasn’t done his economic homework or what the reason is - a good interviewer must know the subject under question & interrogate the subject appropriately. He lets so much get said that is patently untrue.

Well, LNP didn't find the money to spend they just threw it in the big debt basket for Labor to find and fix. Millions and millions of $$s have been thrown in that basket for what?? Did Australia really need a new church for Margaret Court or a $50M park with a statue in Cook?

A very good friends elderly father (and long time LNP supporter) from Goulburn asked Angus Taylor for support regarding a personal issue. Taylor seemed very supportive at the time, telling the elderly gentleman he would do everything in his power to help but did absolutely zero

@InsidersABC ask real questions @David_Speers , You had the opportunity today to ask @D_LittleproudMP about the condition of Joyce as well as ask @AngusTaylorMP about the Watergate rort but no you hone in on hypothetical crap about Neg G and reflect Joyce's situation on our PM.
