Angus: You know, every article I’ve read about the tourism numbers talks about “Canada’s uncertainty with the tariff wars.” No. Canadians hate Donald Trump. They see not going to the US as an act of patriotism. This is something the U.S. tourism industry is beginning to understand. They’re talking...

Angus: Donald Trump is furious that he was made to look like an absolute buffoon in Davos, and that the revenge was coming fast and quick. And what do you do the next day? You start raising the issue of breaking Canada apart. This is the Donbass playbook. Exactly. This has been in the works for some time. The Alberta separatists—these are not credible people. One of them is an ex-Marine. I mean, can you say astroturf? But what they’ve been doing is meeting in Washington. You know, Pete Hoekstra, the ambassador to Canada, accused us of foreign interference by showing a commercial of Ronald Reagan. Meanwhile, the Alberta separatists claim there’s a $500 million slush fund on the table for them to help break up Canada. This is the play they’re going to be using against us. We have an extremist premier, Danielle Smith, who’s been undermining Canada again and again. I just came back from Alberta—huge rallies in Calgary and Edmonton. People do not want this. But what they understand is it doesn’t matter what the majority thinks right now. What matters is Donald Trump’s ability to create an impression so that he has an excuse, a provocation, to act. That’s the Vladimir Putin playbook. These are really, really dangerous times. Ben, we have to start calling this out. We have to shine a light on this. And unfortunately, our national media are being led by the nose on this. This is not a credible rallying of independence. This is about subservience to the MAGA agenda, and Canadians need to recognize the threat that’s coming at us right now.

MUST WATCH 🔴 I feel it’s important to understand what the Pro IRGC camp thinks. Mario Nawfal hosts “expert” Scott Ritter in front of his 3 million followers, where Ritter claims Israel lost the war and is on the verge of collapse. “90 million Iranians have rallied around this government like nobody ever anticipated. So there it is. Israel lost the war. This was a regime change war. Israel made a condition to the United States beforehand. Don’t start this war unless we can guarantee the outcome, which is the end of the regime. That outcome cannot be achieved right now. So all that’s going to happen is Israel is going to be destroyed. That’s all that’s going to happen. Iran is far bigger than Israel. Iran can absorb far more damage than Israel can. Israel’s about to be turned upside down. So now we go back to what does Israel want? They want an off ramp. They wouldn’t want an off ramp if they thought they were winning. They’re not winning. They know they’re not winning. They know they’re not going to win. The same thing with the United States. Iran is about to turn up the heat. And as they turn up the heat, more critical infrastructure will be destroyed. And Israel’s not big. There’s no strategic reserves. There’s no secondary plan, third plan. When you lose your primary infrastructure, you’re done as a nation state. And Israel knows that. What you’re going to see in the coming weeks if this war continues is that Israel will cease to exist as a modern functioning state. And then suddenly, you’re going to be millions of Israelis, you’re going to wake up to the fact that there’s no food, there’s no water, there’s no energy, there’s no life. And they will leave. And that’s the end of the Israeli state.”

Palantir CEO Alex Karp says Silicon Valley is still underestimating AI and it’s disproportionately hurting democrats: “If you’re going to disrupt the economic and political power of the democrat base— and you believe that’s going to work out politically— you're in an insane asylum.” “This technology disrupts humanities-trained, largely democratic voters, and makes their economic power, less. And increases the power of vocationally trained, working class (often male) voters.” “These disruptions are going to disrupt every aspect of our society.” “To make this work, we have to come to an agreement of what it is we’re going to do with the technology, and how we’re going to explain to people who are likely going to have less good, and less interesting jobs from their perspective…” “These technologies are dangerous societally. The only justification you could possibly have is— if we don’t do it, our adversaries will, and we’ll be subject to their rule of law.” “If you decouple this from the support of the military, you’re going to have an enormous problem explaining to be American people— why is it we’re observing the risk of disrupting the very fabric of our society, if it’s not because it’s about maintaining our ability to be American?” “If you don’t believe it— look at the battlefield. What do you think the Chinese and Russians are saying about what they’re seeing on the battlefield right now? They’re not saying this is some incremental technology.” “They’re saying, ‘Wait— the last time we saw America fight it was Afghanistan and nothing worked.’”

Alastair Crooke: US🇺🇸 regime change in Venezuela🇻🇪 is about dominating ALL of Western hemisphere from Argentina to the Arctic…and the US’ growing FINANCIAL CRISIS ‘Venezuela is a huge country. It’s bigger than Ukraine. It’s a large, very large country. And it has connections. You know, I for a period lived in Colombia and you know, it’s quite likely that there are militia waiting to join in on the borders. What are they going to do? Decapitate the government? Bombing it or invading it or kidnapping it? I don’t know. But when the FT says they’re unprepared, this is just psy-ops to say this is an easy war, we will take all that oil and gas and natural resources, and it’ll be folded into the United States. I mean what I think this is about is that the Trump team has made it very clear and sent sort of very clear messages to those receiving, saying from the southernmost tip of Argentina to the Arctic, this is all going to be folded into the new US Western hemisphere sphere of interest. So all of this is part of that, but it’s also part of the US financial crisis. They’ve got a shadow banking system which is now 50% of the credit, which is 50% of total credit given from America, dwarfing almost the conventional deregulated banking system. This is unregulated, is over-leveraged and as the economist from the BIS just said the other day, this is half of the credit given out and we haven’t a clue what’s going on there. In the regulated system we’ve got an idea of what’s going on in the banks, but in the shadow banking system which is now half of the total, we don’t have an idea what’s going on there.’ -Alastair Crooke, the former Middle East Advisor to the EU Foreign Policy Chief, on the latest episode of Going Underground FULL INTERVIEW BELOW IN THE REPLIES👇
