My dear fellow Christians! Remember that it is Jesus Christ that loves you, it is Jesus Christ that died for you sins on the cross and that it is Jesus Christ that will save you – no one else! The Virgin Mary can’t pray for your soul; the Pope can’t give you absolution and the saints will not put in a good word for you on the day of our Lord – only Jesus Christ can! You need to open your heart and let Jesus be your Lord and Savour! Let the blood of Christ clean you and make you righteousness - and with your mouth declare that Jesus is Lord! Admit that you are a sinner, like all of us and you need Jesus in your life. The moment you put your faith and trust in Christ and his sacrifice on the cross, the moment you accept Christ as your savior – you will be saved! Not only are you saved, but you are also justified by the blood of Jesus and protected through his blood. It doesn’t matter how time you attend the Holy Mass or how many times you have taken Communion - the gospel is never about what we do: it’s about what Jesus has done for us. We accept His payment for our sins by repenting and believing. Trust in Jesus Christ alone for your salvation! That is how we are saved, why we are saved and how we are kept saved – through His blood. He shared his blood for all our sins, past, present and future. You only need to believe on His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection. As Scripture says, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.“ (Ephesians 2:8-9) Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die.” “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12) This is the simplicity that is in Christ!
