One of my favorite things when I lived in Chicago was to walk through Lincoln Park Zoo when it was about 20º out and snowing. Nobody really there. But the arctic seals would be having a great time.

That pure joy of a wild animal in the snow is such a beautiful sight! It’s the closest we can get to seeing their natural happiness, i hope one day they can thrive in their actual habitats.

First its a shame bears like this are FORCED for ANY reason, to be held captive in FAKE environments. 2. These animals go stir-crazy from lack of stimulation and boredom. So any outside mental stim they can get which appeals to their natural senses is grossly needed.

Watching animals frolic in the snow warms the heart, for winter's joy is the purest kind.
